According to the Evraz shareholder page, the date of record for the dividend is the 11th of March or am I interpreting this incorrectly? https://www.evraz.com/en/investors/shareholders/dividends/
@Davethedumplin - nothing wrong with walking away with profit, whatever the size. I chose not to because I think this has a long way to run. You may sound right today in a bear market but let's come back to this in 9-12 months and see who made the right decision.
I've got 90K shares and can sleep at night despite seeing 1/3 of the value I saw a few months ago. A critical ingredient to return is time...something many on here do not get. Just because you decide the share is worth 10 pounds on tuesday, it doesn't mean the market comes to the same conclusino on Wednesday.
It's not Peter's job to pump this stock. I'd prefer he spends his time building the business and the valuation will cacth up. Also, companies are required to keep schtum on Nasdaq applications whilst they are in progress so the lack of news is positive!
The mistake you are making is throwing out numbers based on market sentiment at a given time and not fundamentals. Fundamentally why is ten pounds not realistic if you are not bullish on BTC?
ARB isn't risky as far as I can see but it is volatile, don't conflate those two concepts.
Finally, just because on Monday we personally come to the conclusion that ARB is worth 10 pounds and BTC will be worth 150K, it doesn't mean the market will come to the same conclusion on Tuesday. Time, which you are forgetting about, is an important metric in a share price reaching it's potential.
