For all we know Allan , MM & Co could be shorting this on the.( side) , what MM just gave to his mates could be now feeding the shorts too . The directors do have a crooked side to them , look after number 1 & screw everyone else .
MM sure seems to be taking his time on his wish to take THG private , if he carries on at this speed , his golden share will lapse & we may be on to a hostile bid at these rock bottom price . Hope he’s as smart as they say he is .
So what’s the crack for Thursday,
1 - do Thg Rns that candy / Belerion haven’t placed further Bids or have increased their offer
2 - candy / Belerion Rns we are not interested anymore or we are interested
3- silence from everyone so we can presume talks have lapsed .
I really can’t understand why splitting the division’s is going to be easy and reclutive as everyone reckons, if they’re not lining up for the whole group why would they for the Division’s. Private is the only option I feel at the moment with all the macro & geopolitical situations in play . Ingenuity is the trump card so MM keeps reatrating in which case SB should take up their option even if it is at a new negotiated rate .
MM has said he’s going to relinquish his golden share in 2022 , that could mean 31/12/22 in theory. However because the ball has started to roll it makes sense to get this going private sooner than later for his sake if not the PI lol . With that short & sweet AGM & the hoo hah when the daily mail reporter spooked the board by wating to ask the question , there has to be a bid or offer waiting in the wings on the close of 16th of June . Wouldn’t want to be out right now . GLA
Notsofastyou , totally agree there are definitely wind up merchants here just got to ignore . , these MM can shake the tree & the shorts can increase the negative spin. But I ain’t selling , been in more trickier situations in the past , well in profit here .
These are not MMs words!
