Odx won’t ALONE manufacturer 50 million tests . Now did anyone in their wildest dream think we would be making every single one of these tests ?
We will still get royalties from each of the 50 million manufacturerd regardless of who makes them for US . But our plant will be ramping production 24/7 , so that will be the icing on the cake

BINGO !fantastic news (sp wise) that’s where ODX poc cheap as chips tests come into play in much larger numbers than first thought . Opposed to the Roche tests which study’s prove are highly unreliable & cost a arm & leg . The Gov may even cancel the 10 million ordered .

Just need clarification? 25000 share options at 4p each . So what difference to us share holders does it make if the exercised when the sp is 51p or when it’s £1.50 . The option price will still be 4p . Am I missing something?

Antibody tests are primarily used to determine if a person has already had Covid-19 and antibodies should start to become detectable after four to five days.

By eight to 14 days, antibodies are present in 70% of symptomatic patients, and 90% by 11-24 days.

After several more weeks it is thought to reach better than 98%, but how long these antibodies lasts isn’t yet known.

Antibodies can be detected by tests similar to those used for pregnancy testing.


These can deliver results in less than 20 minutes from a few drops of blood obtained by finger prick.

That’s the way to go.

I don’t hold a single share here , been uming & eying had plenty chance at 90p and slightly higher . My question is why has this dropped so much & is it a good entry point now or should I wait .

For Anyone who may be fretting we have been rejected, this piece from a article says we are still very much in the race & are ironing out the creases before we submit our tests to PHE .

Home testing kits are notoriously unreliable, as the government found to its cost when it ordered 3.5 million fingerprick tests, mainly from Chinese manufacturers, and later placed provisional orders for 17.5 million tests from nine firms including some based in the UK .

However in an analysis carried out by researchers at Oxford University none of the home tests were found to be reliable enough for mass use - the Mologic test was not one of those included in the study.

This consolidation around the 50p mark is far healthier as it stands . Nothing goes up in straight line . Just wait for some news which Ime sure is investment it’s way .

The Abbott test is a fail ! Don’t be shocked if the omega test is shipped out to the US once it’s on the market here it’s a INSTANT Test just what Trump wants . It’s just a matter of time . So talk of £4/5 is a very likely possibility.

What the UK needs right now a Made In Britain stamp on any test that’s going to be pioneered, that’s the whole point the government set up the RTC . With the Brexit stuff they need to push a home grown vaccine Antibody test etc . That’s where Odx come in . Design freeze in coming soon it’s a no Brainer they are just tweaking things ;-)

This is what Colin king our CEO had to say about lab based tests i.e. Roche . Home tests are what the country needs and ODX will oblige.

Omega and Mologic are both heavily involved in several lower-to-middle income countries, particularly in Africa, where King acknowledges there is also a significant demand for these testing kits.

But he says that ultimately, if the UK did ask for the entirety of this 46,000-strong daily supply, Omega would oblige.

“It really comes down to the UK government and how much of the production it needs,” King adds.

“It is a lab-based test, so it may not want all 46,000 tests because of the workloads it creates in these laboratories — it requires a skilled technician to be able to run the tests, and it will take a few hours to process and get results.

'm afraid that the company and the consortium have provided no guidance on how long the project will take and the likely timeline for when design freeze might happen. All I can do at this stage is to keep you updated on Omega news by adding you to our email distribution list - I don't expect that they will be updating on progress until design freeze is reached.

I read with interest today regarding the Mologic lateral flow test that they think they will have read for Mass production in June. I'm quite sure that if UK company's are able to pioneer home-use new lateral flow tests that are of the required high accuracy and high specificity that there will be huge global demand and few individual companies would have the joint manufacturing capacity of the consortium through the various parties throughout the home nations.
