Because GM's upcoming "eyes-off" autonomous system is an evolution of their existing Super Cruise technology, it relies on the same established tracking architecture.

So... it is only the eu regulations that become mandatory in July add if you take stellantis volkswagen and renault into consideration, that is practically the whole EU market ( bar merc and BMW which I thing are dual sourced with Smarteye. With this in mind, will it be harder for smarteye to get to profitability as a lot of their sole wins are not European ( apart from volvo group) I would assume seeing will have a lot more short term cash dur to eu regs than smarteye ( or am I being a t w a t!!!!!!)

Didnt realise that Scania and MAN are part of the volkswagen group. When u ask Gemini ( yes b4 u all bleat on I know that its not 100% reliable!) It is saying that from July 26, the trucks will be factory fitted with seeing machines. DAF have their own and Daimler are now an independently owned company, although Mercedes have a huge stake. So between Stellantis and volkswagen that seems to be Europe sewn up lol. From what I can work out BMW and Mercedes are dual sourcing ( im sure ill be corrected!!)
