Surely if you have shares in an isa and you sell then the funds stay in the isa and you can use those funds to buy other shares. Your allowance will not be affected by this action .

My thoughts are with nathdomb and the sad loss of his nephew..
I lost a mate at 17 and did not understand death as such at that age..it’s only later in life that
such events have a meaning and reality kicks in..so nathdomb what can I say maybe always
remember the happy times with your nephew they were his and yours the best.
Judging by the posts and generosity of the folks on this bb you are in good company which is why I am of the opinion that this by far the best bb ever that I have been involved with.
