At 70p we are still 60% lower than pre Covid price!
I won’t be selling below £1.50
And will happily take a surprise £2.50 a share from a studio next year.
RI investors biggest mistake is not letting growers grow.
You buy a recovery share for big gains, you take more risk so have to hold out for big rewards.
Or you might as well have just put the money in banking shares and got a 50% no stress rise.
If you try and trade it now at 72, who’s to say it won’t finish at 75 today.. and then go up a bit more tomorrow.
It no fun watching from the sidelines as it keeps going up
No point trying to trade a peak.
Everybody just hold, why increase the supply of shares.
Surely everybody wants £1.50 next spring/ summer not 72p now?
It wants to show NoFear some profit today.
Just hope the clowns in government that play around with our lives like lemmings dont screw things up with no Brexit deal..
3.5% up so far on the day.. queue another motley fool article..
No worries Investeroid.
I know there are many complex facets to making investment decisions on shares, also simple ones, like being able to understand a share chart post rights issue.. ;-)
Like I said though let’s move on.
I am not that fussed but theses are your words not mine.
“Crucially I Invested in the above companies AFTER they resolved their liquidity issues and may just do the same here in Cineworld, if they resolve their like I've been saying for ages.
Unfortunately Cineworld are in too bad shape financially to leave existing shareholders with anything in my view. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.”
But if you changed your view because of vaccine sentiment then fair enough. That is just quite different to your statement.
Anyway move on..
Investeroid my point was simply that the liquidity risk remained all the way up until last Monday and with talk of a CVA actually became worse from when you initially stated you wouldn’t touch it with a barge poll for liquidity reasons.
I just mean he must’ve gone completely against his own statement and normal investing principles that he clearly stated. So if you act differently to what you say in public then you kind of lose your credibility.
Nothing to do with Jealousy, how much money someone else makes is completely irrelevant to me.
The more people who invest in this share the better for me.
And anyway I have a pretty large holding. ;-)
Investeroid - So I take it you invested after Monday 28th November, one the liquidity was sorted.
Especially considering all the negative press that was around days before..
Investeroid, I have always been curios to what caused your complete 180 on Cineworld from such a strong statement you made on the 28th October. Genuinely just interested?

Down 9% in IAG on a £10k punt investment. Planning on buying more for the inevitable vaccine news pre-Christmas.
Up 23% in RR as of this morning, recovering all my IAG losses and then some.
Investment is based on the fact that air travel is back to 98% pre-Covid-19 levels in China. If they can do it, we can do it.
Crucially I Invested in the above companies AFTER they resolved their liquidity issues and may just do the same here in Cineworld, if they resolve their like I've been saying for ages.
Unfortunately Cineworld are in too bad shape financially to leave existing shareholders with anything in my view. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
Happy Birthday No Fear!
Not a bad present for you, and us all, it finishing on 62.
Less than 5% away from your average now and it’s not even really started yet.
All this talk of Nuclear war with Iran
Iran haven’t got nuclear weapons yet.
Their top scientist was just killed by Israelis, I bet it was Mooky himself, that man will keep on fighting to secure the guaranteed reopening!
Yes, like many on here I was definitely a little concerned at one stage.
We took a lot of knocks one after the other, bad results, Bond delay and then closure news and it seemed all the press was against us.
From late summer Jangho speculation to the bottom and back has all happened very quickly in investing terms.
The derampers definitely panicked a lot of people on here into selling.
People have only had to wait 5 weeks from it hitting 15p to getting all the way up to 67. And even on the worse day I think we were back to 25p by close.
Congratulations to everyone who held out and to new investors coming onboard. As somebody already pointed, now is great time to buy, they should get a lot of upside without all the stress. I am very jealous on anyone who was buying in the 20s,30s and 40s.
I am looking forward to it hitting your 65p mark for you NOFEAR, and then going well beyond that.
Everybody will have there own SP target for selling but for me there is no point going through all that just to double your money.
Many invested in this because of its multi bagger potential, and that is true for me. If it takes a year from now or even longer for it to reach £1.50 - £1.80 then that is fine with.
A takeover might never happen but that would have to be well over £2.50 for it even to be considered.
2021 should be great year for anyone invested in Cineworld.
Still holding, 175,000 @ 54.
£1.50 will be the minimum I will sell for.
A studio takeover bid could also be a very real possibility next year.
Although I am just as frustrated I think it’s very much connected with reality.
I was also hoping for a lot stronger rise but the reality is the company is not generating any revenue or moving forward in any way and is still months away from doing so.
Once we get news of confirmed opening dates then hopefully it should really kick on from that point.
Any extra gains between now and then though are very welcome. ;-)
Has to be him.
Honestly, it’s only been 20 minutes and it feels so much better to have him filtered.
The only issue is you can still see responses to him. Everyone should just put him on filter and then there will be no responses.
I have never been a ramper and on the basis that all points of view and information are normally not a bad thing means I have never filtered any of the derampers.
However although it’s taken me a long time to get there, I have now realised that indepth has absolutely nothing constructive to add to this BB and it’s a compete waste of time reading his posts.
He has now become my first filter.
