The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
there's no getting this cesspit off the ground ever. Again. I'd cash out if my holding was worth anything at all. Of course, it's not. And we're now a tech firm in bed with a two bit agency operating out of Borough, wtf is that about. I'd write this off lads.
They don;t have a product, they're a pumped up tech firm that have unsubstantiated claims on their website. I know this because I work with some of the brands they claim to, and they've never even heard of them. We're in deep sh*t here. Lost a lot of money. the second it;s insuspended I'm gone for the hills so fast your head will spin.
Lol.
Not offending anyone at all. And that's the issue, it seems everyone finds it very easy to forgive and forget the fact that there's a group of people that are responsible for driving this into oblivion. Zero optimism because the couldn't organise a party in a brewery. PS Sorry the oil and gas isn't working out...let's try a VOD advertising solution instead...BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE HOLDERS SIGNED UP FOR Your goddamn right I'll oppose this because the 'company' we're throwing money at doesn't stand a chance any more that NEW itself. Of course, all of the industry specialists here know better, though.
I agree. You should have seen the state of the board yesterday, it's full of clueless chancers that perceive this as some sort of incredible opportunity. I love how, going back as far as you can go, the idea of moving industries isn't floated ever....by anyone. Yet all of a sudden it;s a good move? It's a horrendous move into an utterly saturated market represented by some nobody with some sort of VOD proposition that as on plan for Unilever that one time. Not to mention their YOY halved over the past two years. Utterly un bloody believeable the blinkers people choose to wear.
I'm all about taking risks but do some prospecting, look for another site, whatever. They're closing up shop so as good as done really I don;t know why I'm even getting so punchy about this. I just don;t like dealing with inept people, and this BOD are just brutal for it.
Sorry for the grammar, just re read and made my eyes bleed.
I'm afraid Cashking's point is true. PIs are being used here for something that quite frankly is akin to a piggy bank. Not one of you signed up for this. If you wanted to invest ina tech firm then so be it. However we DIDN'T, and DIDN'T for a reason. I know soem of you think I'm BS-ing about this being my remit...but I'm not. I know the business, and straight away got on the horn to UL to find out if this was the case or not and to get a bit of info. Alas, it's a 3rd party provider, not protected by ANY trading deals, Group M or otherwise. Busi9nesse like this and networks we stay clear of because their reputations precede them. Again, take that for what you will, tell em I'm lying, I don't care. Just have some goddamn backbone and integrity. If you like this sort of investing you shoukld invest in a FUND, not a business.
Because I've still got a stake here, and have done for a good while. Honestly some of the feedback today has been laughable. There's no positive spin on this I'm afraid. I can;t believe more of you aren't utterly furious.
Alright let's just see how this plays out. Good luck telling your mates that the oil firm you invested in just decided to move into advertising. Expect a lot of WTF's. I suggest you all stop being so butthurt about it and accept that it's completely outrageous.
Apologies, for a second there I though we were drilling. Turns out we're a bloody tech firm now! But what do I know.... Jesus.
Christ I'm actually happy you're happy, but sad that you can't see what you've bought into.
I'm not idiotic enough to start posting details on here, and frankly couldn't care less f you believe me or not. Seriously. http://goo.gl/SvRE3t I've told you what I've told you though feel free to dig for more information if you'd like. I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong someone...please. It's hilarious watching you all trip over yourselves, trying to justify this absolute suicide. I've never seen a bb like it - a week ago you were all waiting on 'The Big News', today, they're shutting up shop, not for pastures greener but A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT INDUSTRY, and an absolute nobody as part of that industry. Literally, such a bunch of fools the lot of you, it's really quite scary to see the lengths that people go to to justify their actions. Write this one off, move on. I'm still holding here, but it's utterly worthless and frankly, have couldn;t care less if they fold, I've written it off.
And they don't have a proper office. It's a 2-bit West End Media Agency bottom feeder. Or what's commonly known as a "massive punt". I cannot believe they're trying to force this through. it's almost like someone on the board's kids started a 3rd party VOD solution. This is my industry, believe me.
They did a nominal test with Big Sofa. They're hardly a "partner". Smashing.
This is absolutely hilarious. All the people that have come and gone and given me aggro on this board - we're not even just making an acquisition. we're changing INDUSTRY!!! This is absolutely brilliant, they have NO IDEA what they're doing, and quite clearly taking a last and final punt on their way out. We're all lending another completely unrelated business half a mil? They blatantly aren't booming otehrwsie why the loan?? What a goddamn shambles. I'm literally laughing to myself here. Clueless bunch of plantpots.
are still even on. Looks like there's been a complete change in posters too which suggests everyone else has pulled the plug and got out of this sitting duck.
Mate, I think I'm 90% down. Bought in too late on the hype train following the colossal clusterfcuk last year.
lol. This hasn't moved for months it's dead in the water I'm afraid. T%he sooner everyone here recognises that the better.
Dog company. Awful BOD. Worst investment I've ever made. Still here. No, it's not moving at all and hasn't, despite some of the mroe optimistic posts, for the past x number of months. Stop wasting your time.
