My broker has sent me the share certificate ( still named as Tally Ltd) as they say it's not worth their or my while holding on and obviously charging me for the privilege. What is ironic is that the wording on the top of the share certificate says the certificate is valuable and should be kept in a safe place. I thought of pinning it on the wall, to give me a good laugh in the mornings, ( or is it a cry instead). Anyone else in the same position?
I am sure this has been said before but I cannot for the life of me see Newmont wanting a JV with an irritating small fry company called Greatland; either there’s a buy out of Hav (& a special divi?) OR a t/o and a total payout (perhaps shares in Newmont) - either way there’s money coming to those with patience.
As a small investor here, I see that WalleInvestor (WI) still describes the future estimated share price in the next one year as ‘awesome’, ie a big multiple of the current sp. Does anyone know of any evidence to suggest this? What basis does WI say this? Thanks
Yes Jim, but at what price? If current sentiment suggests more sellers than buyers then we all know what that means. And I’m not deramping here, it’s just that there are more pessimists that optimists around at the moment. Let’s see what happens.
I’m not sure what to think. I’m reading wildly conflicting forecasts on the direction of the SP over the next 3-5 years. I don’t think I have ever seen such a divergence of opinion. I was thinking of having a few more, but the lack of consensus among those who know a lot more than I do suggests a no. Any strong views anyone, and just as importantly why??
I am at a loss to see any sp bounce until a takeover by a big miner. Even Havieron and other discoveries / news won’t move the sp much IMO. Many sh will sell out on news anyway. I am as surprised as many that the sp is stuck at 10-12p. Some may hang on until mining starts and dividends get paid. I am not going to hold my breath and will unload as soon as I’m in the black here.
As an infrequent attender to this message board I was interested to see that Kemeny were “promoting” this share as a long term bet. I only know that I have been here a few years and seen the SP plummet, but when you are down to near nothing I’m hoping the only way is up. Does Kemeny know something we don’t???
I found out about Ggp at pre 2p days and holding onto my free ride having sold enough along the way. Got a tip about Technology Metals Australia and bought a few. Not quoted on LSE yet, has anyone heard of it?\ invested? Looks promising IMO. Apologies for being off Ggp board.
