Canny 're your last paragraph, it is possible to re enter wells like T45 and go deeper, but it would carry risk, especially around creating the bond between the existing wellbaore and the extension.
It can be done and this campaign has shown they're are using better cementing techniques
Personally, I don't think that would be done on those two wells unless production dramatically slowed at some point inn the future.
I think Zaza talking about the likelihood of new wells into 19 and beyond (apart from Niko plus 1/2 other existing bores) would allow both better cementing techniques to give greater long-term bore stability plus, I think, a greater bore diameter to allow greater flow (T39 only goes into 19 on a 5 inch liner)
I must admit the bit I found most surprising, most pleasantly so if literal, was the potential cost of an entirely new well being only around $3.6M.
The advantages over the sidetrack of old holes, costing $2.6 to $2.9 should far in exceed the relatively small cost difference
