VAST had over 5500 million shares in issue when it received the confirmation of the association license for Baita back in October 2018 - if the 'house' analogy that AP uses is true, why has it taken 18 months and another 5500 million shares to be able to pay for the metallurgical work that he says they knew was good but couldn't confirm (even though any mention of BP has always suggested the 6% copper equivalent (ie including gold and silver credits))

A few hours to work on the sales pitch then??

Sarah, a video with CRUX might be worth watching as it appears they do their research and drill into some detail , the rest of the platforms are just opportunities for PR with little interrogation (they don't want to delve too deep otherwise the 'client's wont come on again, affecting the volume of new content and possibly their bottom line - tbf- that would probably apply to CRUX too)

Sam, the simple question to ask, is why, after VAST have had the rights to Baita for in excess of two years have they only just got round to doing metalluysampling on the pre-mixed ore available underground ore?
Surely if they were that sure it would provide positive results you do it as early as possible to give greater leverage in any financial discussions?
Or was this information in the SRK report (that shareholders having been able to see), but they ****ed up the contract so couldn't release the data and are now having to pay for the work a second time (by someone who, though they appear competent, doesn't quite have the international reputation of SRK)

Whether there is a justifiable reason or not for the placing (???) the timing of releasing this and Fridays RNS is bizarre - I can only guess(and it is a guess) that Grinding Solutions had been loose lipped re the metallurgical results, meaning VAST had to release those results before the placing (which would probably have taken a few days to arrange)

The pictures are fantastic - though obviously BOD aren't showing any diamond images yet (would be highly price sensitive while they still analyse the bulk sample) - the semi precious crystals definitely suggest previous volcanic intrusion

Mind you, that should obviously be the case in a kimberlite pipe!

Do we know when well get an update on the new cores indicated in RNS on 10th March 'Underground drilling has intersected the Antonio Skarn below 18 level at the Baita Plai mine and from multiple readings with a handheld Niton XRF, the mineralised zone intersected in the drill holes are consistent with management’s expectations.

The drilling is being undertaken by the only local drilling company remaining with underground drilling capabilities. Initial logistics and drilling proved difficult with breakdowns and spare part availability being problematic. These are resolved and drilling is progressing at an acceptable rate.

Drilling is expected to be completed by the end of April 2020. The core will be cut in half on site with one half of the core being retained and the second half sent for independent analysis at the ALS Chemex Laboratories at Rosia Montana in Romania. Results of the analysis will be released as they are made available by the laboratory and verified against the sample records at Baita Plai.'

Botswana will begin a gradual lifting of a five-week lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus on Friday.

Vice President Slumber Tsogwane said that based on the government's response to the coronavirus outbreak and the current trajectory of the disease, the administration decided to open the economy albeit incrementally, while observing the disease patterns.

Tsogwane made the announcement Wednesday during a meeting of lawmakers reviewing proposals from President Mokgweetsi Masisi on reopening schools and the economy.

Masisi favors a gradual process that meets guidelines from health officials on staying vigilant in slowing the spread of the coronavirus.

Masisi and lawmakers wore face masks during the discussions.

Botswana has confirmed 28 cases of coronavirus and one death.
