I haven't looked up your posting Laura and I very much apologise for my post if I've got you wrong based on what other have said.

Although I kind of contradicted myself saying a gamble is a gamble having previously used the term 'outright gamble' that 's because Wood is in suspension and the risk is there of getting nothing back whereas here yes you can still walk away with something if it continues to fall but I still say it's all gambling.

On Wood, I really don't know Laura, It sits as at a complete 50/50 for me although some news recently seems a little more positive but like I've said it could turn in a moment for the worst and I'm fortunate not to worry unlike some invested over there, If I lose I lose. I do have a reasonable five figure some gambled on it.

And I'll repeat what I said yesterday 'you just don't know what's around the corner' whether good or bad.

If an equity raise was to come and depending on the price, a gamble on a future recovery is the consideration and possibly a takeover if someone can see it's potential going forward.

Reading what some have said about this Laura character, I'll take a guess she's sold up and moved on. Win, lose or draw as they say.

It's not wise to go with your gut, when the fundamentals are as clear as they are it's a matter of being just as clear on the risk in your head, 50/50 etc

A precedent was set under the last raise because of pressure and that's why at this point it's too high risk to go with your gut.

I bought in to Wood prior to suspension with a clear 50/50 mindset knowing quite well I could lose all I put in. It's all a gamble but some are very much an outright gamble when you don't know what's going on in the background just like in Wood's case

If I get 20p for WG I make a couple of quid. If I get nothing, well that was the gamble I took.

You can't win them all just plenty of luck if you do.

I like a gamble and I take the view that every stock you can buy is a gamble whereas some think long term 'investing' is not a gamble. I'm not good on balance sheets but I know a man who is very good, he tells me it's ugly and it's going to need cash, so I'll hold my gamble back for now and watch on.

High risk can be very much high reward and you just never know what's around the corner. Good luck all.

Posters here who voted in favour of the board at the AGM clearly supported the current board. In my opinion had the board been removed, there would have been a transitional period, not a catastrophe. The concern lies in the damage already done. Once the accounts are published, they'll reveal further an even clearer position of the Wood Group and that will continue to drive what actions need to be taken sooner rather than later or not, regardless of whether the current board survived.

Coming from an individual who wants to see shareholders here with nothing so he can then return to laugh and mock them. A disgusting piece of work.

If the individuals on the Board who have been apart of this mess had any morals they would have be making arrangements to step down in an orderly manner months ago knowing where this was likely heading, I don't buy it they didn't know to some extent.

The big pay packet came first.

We can now be confident they knew then what was coming after the garbage it was.

According to some here, only one of two options are now available for the Wood Group unfortunately.

I'm yet to see that made perfectly clear by the company.

You decide to copy and paste my comment and have your say which is also fair enough but you seem to have to make sure you are seen and heard and at times you have a reply for someone you like to do a bit of twisting along the way when it suits. It's clear people with a 'peanutbrain' and a lack of 'common sense' as you put it can see it because I certainly do.

Just to add as you will no doubt see, Rock is now wanting comfort from Bob, I'll repeat my opinion, he should have dumped is holding, it's stressing him out, he's projecting it and yet again that's fair enough.

I'm invested in Wood and I was making a point like many do here but to be fair, it was more of a dig at the ones who stayed invested in Wood and clearly shouldn't have in my opinion. Try understanding the point I was making before jumping in with your words and being miles off and I'm OK with Peanutbrain, wish I'd have thought of that myself, not a problem at all as I know what I am and what I am not, unlike so many across these boards.

He's back with a re-post, either his own or someone else's. Investors should already be well aware of this, but some here can't help but feed their fears. You should have sold your stock.

It seems like some people here are intentionally adopting a worst case scenario mindset and projecting it, so if things go better than expected it's a bonus and that's fair enough but if you truly believed it was that bad, why didn’t you sell before the suspension? You set yourself up for the stress and worry after suspension and can't own it is what I'm thinking.
