But surely, if the study failed, they would need to issue an RNS and inform us as soon as they know, wouldn’t they?

It probably been answered before, but why the expectation is that the RNS should arrive now not in two weeks time. The study has finished so you would think they need about two weeks to reflect on the collected data to issue full informed RNs.
