Friend got this earlier from AJ Bell5 Aug 2020 18:38
I bought in last week through my SIPP at £1.75 and want to hold mid to long term. However I got 2 corporate action announcements through today regarding the Demerger and Delisting. It confirmed I'd be getting the new shares in AccuStem ?? but I'm a bit confused on how the delisting will play out on the remaining TILS shares in my SIPP as it stated (abbreviated) - 'Tiziana Life Sciences PLC has announced plans to redomicile the Company to Bermuda, a move which is anticipated to occur in the second quarter of 2020. As a result the company will not be seeking to re-admit its ordinary shares to trading on AIM, and will be cancelled from AIM as a part of the redomicile... SIPP holders should note that unlisted shares are not SIPP eligible. Unlisted shares will be displayed within your portfolio at cost and will not be revalued except where this is required in relation to their holding within a registered pension scheme i.e. benefit crystallisation events, reviews and pension transfers (subject to change). In these circumstances it may prove difficult to value the unlisted shares and, should this be the case, we reserve the right to commission a valuation and charge your SIPP for it.' - could you throw some light on the mechanics of it, I'm a bit lost! ??
