The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from WS Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
First post on here in a couple of years. Lost a lot on P1, but thankfully sold out shortly thereafter and saved my sanity from what became a terrible decline in the SP.
Agree with many posters that this now could be a stock worth sticking a few quid into and seeing what happens. Also agree with the posters saying it’s a big gamble, because it is, however if the BOD get some form of a deal in Uruguay then the returns from here will be handsome.
Good to see you back IK, a poster of genuine intent and very knowledgeable of the markets and their mechanics.
I am really here to vouch for Spritefan, as I know he is a genuine investor and isn’t a troll, ramper or PnD merchant. I have spoken to him about BPC elsewhere and my advice to all whom wish to try to muddy his postings is don’t, he is here because he genuinely believes it’s is the correct time to return.
BTW for clarity I do not hold and haven’t since a few days after P1. Will I return, yep, when it suits my nerves!

Yes I know of the FB group. Know also what I’ve read on there. No evidence of insider info / dealings from anyone IMO.
No one other than the BOD in the spotlight here IMO.
I tried and lost here, likely the majority suffered the same fate. I’m not happy how things turned out, but that’s on me and me alone.
A miracle is needed here IMO, but I’ve sat here and said the same before.
I hope all goes well for you and anyone else still interested.

Uncas posted 3 times since you became a member. All 3 posts related to Leo Koot resigning and we’re posted on the same day, 25th January 2021.
Not sure where you get the idea he is / was an insider?

I don’t disagree with any of that.
But surely if any of the creditors were going to call in their chips, they’d have done so by now? Which leads me to believe discussions have taken place regarding remittance, that would be mutually agreeable. Just conjecture on my part.

All hypothetical until we know what payment terms our creditors have or will accept.

Do the directors believe we will become insolvent?
Maybe they do, maybe they don’t. But until either position becomes apparent we are still solvent.

The very definition of insolvency is not being able to service debts at maturity.
As our debts aren’t matured as at yet, we are technically not insolvent.
Of course on paper we could ‘technically’ be insolvent, but practically we are still solvent.

Davis has always been a BPC supporter. I expect his involvement to be positive.

I believe they had to release it now, as by 7am Monday they’ll be production testing and hence will be in another closed period.

Didn’t Langans close anyway?

The CGOB have not made BPCs operations easy. Prior to them becoming CEG, there has been a moratorium on drilling and getting a EIA has been a difficulty also. I’m assuming that the BOD are contesting paying in full, given they weren’t afforded a clear run at the drill, with regards to licenses. It cuts bothe ways.

From memory the government had officials on the rig during P1. Black and Vietch were assigned to the task. I’m assuming you meant during P1.

I’m pretty sure I remember you on another BPC group predicting the merger with CERP. You didn’t detail it, but if memory serves me correctly, you were aware of ‘massive dilution’. I hope on this occasion you are correct in your prediction.

Just for balance I had several quotes today to buy at 0.35. Not saying it isn’t a sell, but not sure it’s not a buy either.
In reality the funding bar is set at 0.35. If that’s the price for anyone wanting to buy, then I’d say it’s better to buy the OO, as the funds go into the company coffers, which in turn will help them get us on a better footing.
Just my opinion and I don’t do advice.

I agree with you on the BOD purchases. I’d go so far to say it would be good sport if they were to take extra too.
