Can anyone confirm divi position on say 46512 shares (100k) based on last yests payments of 22.5 p int and 45 p final. My calcs are &10465 and £20930. Am i correct if the divis returnef to that level ?

Sheltie. The divi amt was a rough estimate but i just went off previius per share divis. So for my info as i am investing here mainly for the. Divi. What do you think it will be iwhen things return to normal. I used rhe wx dividend calc to get the 90 k figure. My olan is to get as many shares as pos fr rhe best divi ?

This is nt a gamble long term… its quite simple we are buying a well run, profitable business with consistent good dividend payments which will return either in the near term or in a year or so. This special situatiom is allowing us to buy in at a price not seen for many many years. (Like rolls at.68 but with a better divi) .

To put this into comtext. Rental invome on two nice terraced houses (not London) at say 300k is around 12 to 14k per annum

Future Divis on same money invested now in cbg will be 90 k per annum plus upside in sp

I can only see this going one of two ways:

1. Good lawyers get decision o turned as they illustrate cbg followed fca rules and existing decision has massively wide reaching implications. Supreme court judges will already be steadily and indirectly buying cbg shares from anonymous offshore accts

2. Decision remains - cbg deal with payouts - divi returns later

1. Sp flies quickly as divi returns and businesd as usual

2. Sp dips, we buy more, sp climbs after a yesr or so, we then hold more shares thsn we ever could and claim divi at .45 a share … eventually .

Either way we win

My Mrs has had cars on the tick until very recently . As a test I asked her to try and process a claim. The claim handler cam e back and asked for all paperwork relating to the loans etc. She replied I don t have it that why I ve asked you !! How many people will have kept all their paperwork ? dating back to 2007 - Its just not going to be doable for many. Last couple of years maybe

Don t forget the divi PER SHARE when it returns. I was nt thinking about when i sold 60000 RR shares recently. Won t make rhat mistake again
