George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
After seeing that BBC 1 o'clock news piece, I also contacted Consilium (Consilium Strategic Communications (Financial Media and Investor Relations). I emailed that the piece had said, "Interferon beta-1a (and other drugs) has been shown by the Trial ‘Recovery’ and the WHO’s Solidarity Trial to have little or no benefit in reducing deaths due to Covid."
Consilium quickly came back with, "Thank you for your inquiry.
We are aware of the piece that aired today on BBC, and are aware that it is misleading, having not classified interferon beta 1a as injected rather than inhaled. We are working to ensure that this nuance is understood by the BBC, who have obviously previously reported positively on various aspects of Synairgen's trials and progress.
Thanks, nonetheless, for bringing it to our attention."
Great for replying straightaway. I gather injecting is not considered beneficial unlike our inhalation medication
Oh, don’t you just hate these placings. If they weren’t bad enough in themselves with always a nasty discount, the sp has to be manipulated down to just above the placing level to not make it look too bad, and you can just imagine the greedy placees rubbing their hands with glee as they pre-sold all their placements the last few days.
It’s Aim - Business as usual
Labro again proving very supportive and converting their $22m loan to stop the interest building up at$2.1m per year is great news.
‘the funds received ...... represent the remainder of the upfront equity portion to fund the Tulkubash project in the Kyrgyz Republic and fulfils one of the key criteria in order to draw on any debt project finance facility that is arranged.’
Plenty of funds also for the foreseeable to further develop Kapan and work on Kyzyltash.
As long as the politics play out in these two countries, Chaarat will deliver, Mr Anderson has said so
Gareth stated in December he would vote against the unnecessary dilution of another 420m shares created if the warrants are exercised. These warrants are due to be given to the lucky placees who got loads of shares @ 1.25p whether they've sold their shares or not (which they probably have).
Vote against further dilution - vote Against the motions, we can win
Only just realised this company is not just ASX listing but Main Market here as well. I'm getting some shares as been bought out with the Tethyan Resources takeover. Kept hassling AJBell with 'where are my ADT Asx shares' but now, having re-read the rns's properly, I see I should be getting London ADT1 shares!
Indeed, perhaps it is the silver frenzy, certainly went up well overnight in Oz. As Oz is ahead of us timewise, do we often take our lead from them? Or are we the boss?
Fantastic timing mcfcnige (how do you pronounce that?) HSBC reduced yesterday as they did exactly 2 weeks ago, so maybe not today but from 5.872% it's a lot of shares to next notification (and last) to 5% if they're still going down. (Think with an ii 5% will be their last notification).
We've come up and up but no Slovenia news for quite a while, It's been 3 months since 'the Company now confirms that it is entering into direct negotiations with the Republic of Slovenia, with a view to potentially settling the claim in an amicable manner in the short term.'
Thanks Jim, if it was you who asked for Align to unblock me, They Have !
Excellent post by them explaining their sale. I would think there are many outcomes still to our dispute with Slovenia but it’s been quite a while from our last update so got to be soon imo.
Max19 - Been a long and painful journey but it may well turn good in the end, but only for people who have averaged down. I have revisited about 4 or 5 of my old bottom drawer stocks lately and averaging down is bringing a few of them back(ACP QFI INFA ECHO WSG CORO) - most having some success
Nick, must admit you’ve got something there - one joint broker to another one who’s just been set up from the old one.
So in fact no additional broker and nothing new. Unfortunately, as the company did not spell that out, the price slipped as a placing IS what normally happens. Perhaps it won’t in this instance and perhaps, as someone else said, it might be good for the company anyway.
However, let’s wait and see, my money is on a placing but I’m often wrong
Reason : Joint Broker often means, 'Placing Ahoy'. Hopefully, if true, which it probably is, it won't be much below 10p
Mgmt panicking as the sp is starting to make their placing and warrants price as stupid as it actually was
Thanks Golden and ross, nice to hear your both very confident in the company. I've been hear with a small holding for years and just beginning to get above water. See what you mean about our Tailings (TSF) dwarfing this Kili deal.
Just saying that this Tatnall is a complete rogue and very much doubt his abilities to raise sufficient cash. We shall see shortly whether he is up to it and hopefully by end of Feb we may be in a position to perhaps conclude the deal (optimistic timescale in my view).
Glad to hear someone say this is not really important as I'm having my doubts on it's successful conclusion as just realised Papillon is Tatnall and Longley who destroyed PPG last year with loads of promises over about 3 years and nothing materialising.
I see Tatnall and Papillon have to raise $4m and are obviously struggling with this. Who is the Director mentioned that is on both sides of the deal - someone at Mayflower and GDP or Papillon and GDP ?
I see Mayflower is loaning Kili money that has restarted production. Presumably this needs repaying if deal falls through? Otherwise from the tone of the RNS am I not sensing the deal is almost 'now or never' ? Tatnall made PPG shareholders wait years on promises of finance
That's a decent Top up!
Reckon that's great news today re-organising the loan so it's all settled till well after the gold starts pouring from Tulkubash.
Got an email back from Artem yesterday, after I asked anything taking the sp down, any news coming or are they hunkered down for winter :
Hi Pabs,
We are still working - in our countries of operations, holidays start from 1 Jan.
Share price is unjustifiably low. No particular reason, may be after-march of the war in Armenia, but we are doing very well there in spite of all. Yes, we plan for operational update as usual early in the new year and working hard on all other fronts as well
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Best,
Artem
No mention of Underwriters don’t think. The placing was 233m and those jerks must have had over 100m at 3p which they’ve dumped over the last weeks with no sign of their obligatory TR1’s at each integer. They surely didn’t sell 100m yesterday
