@Spks they probably knew they would need to suspend months before... but imagine if they said they were gonna suspended the shares - it free falls for no reason other than people taking liquidity. Sometimes businesses need to suspend but doesn't mean they should be sent to zero for doing that

Any idea what's caused the dip today and this week generally?

Dev is going to be a prime acquisition target as companies build out their metaverse capabilities - Byju, Microsoft, Facebook, pretty much every gaming co etc... lets hope we can sneak another year or two in before that happens but it's an industry that's growing extraordinarily quickly and DEV is right at the front of ed tech

This share is inevitably going down, but the upside for current investors is there as they will get shares in the new co, although its a min 12 month hold and going to be very very painful to watch.
Shorters are coming in as this share is inevitably going down as other cos are spun out, value remains for the share holders as mentioned above but the THG share is going south because you're taking value out of the share. Its odd of THG to telegraph this move so early... and bizarre. Think questions will be asked about Matts leadership and ability as he's basically backed share holders into a corner - "you either hold THG for 12-24months or you sell for a massive loss"

He liked a tweet 2hr ago asking him if he's still confident...

I sold some shares in another co today in a 212 account (I normally use interactive investor) and thought why not buy some more DEV shares today with the profits - anyway I placed an order of c.3500 shares at 11am and it still hasn't executed. Anyone else had this problem? Is it a platform thing or a liquify thing? Interactive investor normally grabs shares pretty quick

Agreed with all of that from my stand point - I meant currently it's low millions. I think 75p is easily achievable. Then, if a major partnership, acquirer or other comes into play (which is difficult to accurately predict) then you can start talking big big numbers.

@Johnny1949 - I'm bullish on DEV but that would be a 1.1bn market cap with a revenue that is in the low millions, more time might be needed but I don't know what the future sales pipeline is or DEV's ability to scale that fast. Anything I can read to back that sort of growth projection up?

@Diligent - how do you see this share price playing out? Most of their "value" lies in beauty and ingenuity. They will of course raise massive amounts of cash from the new IPO which will help them grow it but over time THG stake in THG beauty will dilute - impacting the original THG share

My mind is a bit scrambled by it, hopefully they give existing shareholders early rights but I held despite this being a bit of a mess
