agree Max. three assets, take your pick for which one news will land on first....
14p historically is a pivotal price here, break that and could be in for a very good run imo. last two times its broken 14p we went into the 20's. suspect news will be needed but TK has plenty lined up for Q1 imo
was mid $40's when we snapped up the china licence, now approaching $70. if it continues to rise then the farm out will be interesting !!
don't think its news related but a bounce off the lows. 11p was far too cheap imo. although news could land on any of the three fronts in Q1 so watch this space. with the right news this is back in the 20's no problem.
New year new sentiment it seems. 13.49 paid.
Happy new year all, hope you all had a good break and enjoyed the festive period. Looking forward to a blockbuster Q1
Magnum Gas & Power Limited (Magnum or the Company) is pleased to provide an update on the drilling for the Tulainyo 2-7 gas appraisal well in the Sacramento Basin in California. The well has now been drilled to the planned total depth of 5,710 feet (1,737 metres). Multiple, potential sandstone gas reservoirs are indicated based on interpretation of drill cuttings, gas shows and wireline log data. The Gas Fields LLC (Gas Fields) joint venture considers that the sands penetrated are as good as expected pre drill. The current operations are running seven inch production casing, protecting the indicated gas zones for later testing. Once casing has been run, the well will be suspended and the Ensign Rig 587 demobilised from site. A flow test program will be commenced early next year, using specialised testing rig and equipment to be brought to site. Mr John Begg, a representative for Gas Fields, said: “We are excited about the opportunity ahead of us. The operator, CRPC, has done an excellent job in drilling this well to target depth in a challenging geological environment. The combination of potential reservoirs and gas shows that were recorded in the well are what we were hoping to see. The sandstone units compare well with what was observed in the original, untested discovery well and the nearby extensive outcrop. A robust well design will provide flexibility in how we now go about the upcoming critical flow testing program”.
Hope not. Indonesia market is desperate for gas and given the result of the first well I'd rather see this developed. Even at 10% could be a massive asset. Suspect eme could farm into North X-ray (as suggested on advfn)
buy from yesterday, think i read that was show.me's buy. nice to see him back
if you contact peter he will kindly email you the reasoning as to how he arrived at his assumptions. I've had some email dialogue with him and hes a very reasonable chap who has done a great deal of research in the Sacramento basin since 2014. - why does it matter when he releases news? perhaps the Q & A was conducted through the day. - operating mon - fri was deemed more cost effective and they wanted the same shift workers on the job for consistency and to eliminate risk of error which changing teams on each shift. no issue, just your short term targets not being met. perhaps the companies are more concerned with the med / long term outlook that satisfying your trading needs. TA
look solid,. really like the way this company is shaping up with three complimentary assets.
your a joke.
any company would advise works that come in under budget... that's common practice. then again you clearly know better than SGC........ common ffs stop looking for something to post about because there is a lack of activity. SEPT - Share placement to raise over $2.4 million
SGC have sufficient cash, they are no different from us relying on placings to fund growth until production. 'We are concurrently designing and permitting the next reservoir stimulation phase of work at Dempsey and based on recent examples expect to be ready for that work early in 2018. This stimulation work is expected to be consistent with Sacgasco’s efficient and effective operating philosophy, and to be an affordable process for Sacgasco and its co‐venturers. As such, we are FUNDED to carry out this work.'
i wasn't aware the rig wasn't required... so they are able to stimulate without the rig, assume all flow testing etc can also be completed before continuing to produce from this zone to pipeline assuming a successful result? then at a later date return to move the testing up unless current zone is producing very well?
amazed at the amount of buyers that expected instant success and then blame 'rampers'. this company will not be defined by one well, we have a fantastic set of assets and have only tested 2 zones out of a number of zones, Gary Jeffreys actually alluded to the fact these wells might require stimulation so it shouldn't be a surprise to everyone.
for whats its worth is that this extended production test could work quite well for us all. i can see a scenario in the new year where we go back to complete testing at Dempsey and start producing from the best zone with the JV then moving straight onto Alvares for testing and re-entry, In the meantime full results on China and Indonesia should see some updates. Indonesia seems almost forgotten yet is probably our most valuable asset at present with a confirmed discovery restricted flow test. Field development plan approval would set a rocket under this imo, I presume in the background Conrad are currently working towards this,
someones loading up... Assume news this month regarding financing so that interest me. speculative punt or has someone had a wink. time will tell
Q2 will be reported next week and seems they may answer your question.......
