Why and share price dropped after mining application?

Forgive me for asking as I must admit that I am a newbie. Surely every company wants their share price to be high so why aren’t they issuing the RNS with the positive news? Probably a silly question but have to ask as I’m baffled by it all.

Is the RNS 100% due this week. On what information are people thinking there is an RNS due this week? Or is it rumour?

Serious question to the investors thinking this will rocket next week……..what will 1 million shares be worth if the SP rockets?

Newbie question perhaps, but why did the share price drop after 4.30pm? It was like 680 at 4.30 close but now back at 660?
