The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Let’s hope so. Seems like one delay after the next at moment with this and the regulations that have to be complied with, so looking forward to seeing what plans there are to justify the cost of the listing and the reason it was bought in the first place!
Completely agree Bigmj, absolute disgrace. To drag it out this long before then reneging on the deal, really is unbelievable. Glad to hear you are supportive and hopefully AAAP can find a more suitable partner/growth plan in the near future (preferably one who has morals and decency this time!)
Well there goes that theory then, RNS out.
What a waste of time, effort and money this has been for AAAP. I hope they continue with legal action against Comarco. Their behaviour has been appalling.
I agree Optimist13, looks highly likely the deal is back on, in what shape or form we don’t yet know, but hopefully we hear very shortly, as surely this is a material enough development to require a RNS…
Sorry to hear that Bloodshot. I hope your luck turns elsewhere and you can recover your losses
Hi Mike,
Yes, very disappointing news. Especially given how long this has been drawn out. I don’t suppose there is any further information you are able to share?
What is your expectation from this point? Is claiming Touchwood the most viable option as they have pulled out of the transaction?
As funds are due to be repaid immediately, I assume this furthers the breach of contract by Comarco by suggesting end of October repayment, as AAAP has full right to claim the land rather than wait for payment?
Extremely frustrating either way!
Thanks
Not sure what to make of no RNS so close to the 30th, with only tomorrow to go.
Part of me thinks that if it were going to be extended again they would have done this earlier and not held on until last minute, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking, as it does seem unlikely for it to suddenly be announced with one day remaining on the stated date
Yes, that’s right Optimist13, it is the end of September. Fingers crossed!
Hi Optimist13,
Those are all mine. Stocking up a bit more in anticipation of the RTO completely shortly (hopefully… finally!…)
Yes they were both mine Optimist, my order was split into two transactions. Not sure why they appear on different exchanges though!
Yes, looking forward to seeing the RTO finally be announced and then completed.
Ive bought some more this morning and as I have been in here a while and buying over time was surprised to calculate this morning that my holding is now 1.5% of the issuer shares, so hoping this comes good and lives up to expectations!
Been a long time since we have heard from big Mike, but can see he is still active on Twitter and is retweeting AAAP news etc. So assume it’s still just a waiting game now!
I agree with Optimist13, always good to hear your views bigmj and you taking the time to post them.
Thanks for the update bigmj. Glad to have your input here.
Thanks Kenny, likewise, all the best!
Thanks John,
Yes, I know what you're saying. I think the biggest issue these days is that virtually no-one trusts DL anymore! I think LGC had a new bunch of investors, maybe unfamiliar with DL's form/reputation on other shares.
As long as DL's name is attached to this I don't personally think anyone will trust it with too much money! Especially given the lack of transparency and then the usual hype leading up to a fundraising and then back to silence!
I could be wrong and there may suddenly be a large spike, but after 6 years, I'm fed up of waiting for it and that's reflected in the loss I've taken on these.
I'll keep on eye on things, as if there is a decent spike then I'm hoping I can jump back on short term to recoup some of the losses here, but let's see but best of luck to you, whatever you decide here!
Hi guys,
Just a quick note to say I'm now sold out altogether, as I've been selling my remaining holding over the last few trading days.
I'll be keeping an eye on things here to see how the medicinal cannabis side of things turn out, but I'm not keen on the sudden move away from the other side of the business (which years on we still have extremely limited transparency on)
My gut feeling is telling me that DL is going to do the usual continuous fund raising/dilution and then once that's done and AFRI has served it's purpose we'll go back to silence and after over six years I've had enough of 'jam tomorrow'.
For those holders sticking it out I wish you the best of luck and hope that my gut feeling is wrong and that you are rewarded, as I think everyone has put up with enough pain here to deserve this to come good!
Hi Optimist13,
Yes, all could definitely still change and this could be a great move. If that turns out to be the case then I may possibly buy back in in the future.
I’m interested to see how this unfolds.
Thanks John,
That’s why I’ve left the remaining 6m in my SIPP here.
I’ve also time after time been burnt here, waiting for that turning point.
I too wouldn’t invest in anything with such lack of transparency again, so lesson learned here too!
I’m just dubious as to what further investment and dilution will occur and being burnt here many times before I’ve taken half of the tables and will roll the dice on the remaining shares, just in case this time IS it!
Best of luck too!
They were my sells today (just under 5m)
Been here over 6 years now and this sudden switch to medicinal cannabis feels like more rainbows to chase, so I’ve cut my losses here.
I’ve still got 6m in a SIPP here which I will ride out here and see what happens, so hope it comes good, but 6 years to then suddenly chase direction is enough for me to half my holding and let the rest ride.
Let’s see what happens over the next few weeks
Will be interesting to see what happens here. At least something is happening for once!
