I have already read info saying Walmart will retain a small % of Asda, / merger so if that's the case it must be JS making a move on Asda so sp could well go down if it moves at all.

I think they will announce a done deal on Monday first thing and they will freeze the sp to stop anyone / city making any money out of this, and that's why it has been kept out of the news until now a done deal. It does make sense with all the market growth / share that Lidli and Aldi have made. Also Tesco and Booker deal went through no trouble. Can see them in the long term closing one head office and maybe 5-10 years changing one of the names.

So it looks like Deutsche Bank AG have reduced their holding to below 3%, so who has bought these? Someone is buying up everything out there.

Well like many I have watched this video, and I am afraid that Dik doesn't come over very positive. He seems to rush and give the impression he doesn't really want to be there which generates very little response from those attending.Investors invest more in the leaders and prospects of a company, and not on a company that looks as if it's going back wards. If all goes well we could get 1-2 new customers by year end and possible a new eneo contract, that's not a lot to look forward to.

Just because a sp goes down doesn't mean a company is going into admin,debs will be here for years. They have good sales, they are still making a profit, they have plenty of lending there if they need it, they have M A with almost 30% and they are growing net business. I would close any shorts here as the so will be 50 p before long.

Yes lots of very big buys , but not sure what is going on. A number of 1m buys then lots of 300,000+ buys and the retractions and re buys at slightly lower prices, so not sure what the true volume is.

So what is holding this company back? Is it the products that might be out of date? is it the BOD's where the city have little faith? Is it the numbers.? So going by the last rns up-date we look like they will come in on expectations, but what are they as they never list them. If we come in with growth of say 4% then we should be looking at Sales up to �821m, Trading profit �130m Profit before tax�85m Debt reduction to �510m and cost savings of �10m. Now with all that the sp should be at about 85p -�1. If we don't achieve that then may be we should sell off Batchelors and others to pay down debt, but there are many other companies out there with much higher debt levels and much higher sp levels. Interesting to see what happens.

When you first came on here approx 2 years ago it was great to see some new ideas and positive remarks which lifted us all, then as time went on reality has sort of kicked in and now you have become another long term holder with similar views like the rest of us, what have we got our selves into. Anyway time moves on and again we are talking about nothing happening in the last 6 months, but it's normal for Foo and Co to put many of these remarks into his rns 's that just kick the problems down the road and are hopefully forgotten by the time the next problem crops up. Will we ever sell West Med? Will we ever get the stuck gun out? Will we ever get the flow tests promised? Will we ever get enough customers to make a profit? Will we ever get the sp to �1? Will there be another rights issue to drill Matanda? The only way forward in my view is get rid of Foo and also sell off GDC for �250m and give the money back to the shareholders. Still so many questions .

Goodness me, so Dik is going to speak at this Nambia show. So what's he going to say.? When laying out your business plan always over state your objectives so they can never be achieved. When raising money always over state your position and take as much money as you can where there is NO come back on the directors. Sign as many contracts as you can that do not hold water and leave your company in the S***T. Arrange as many cheap / free share deals for the directors that means you always make money out of the company regardless of the out come to other shareholders. Always hire un- proven drilling companies that never deliver on their contract. Then tell other companies in the same field how to run their businesses. That should get everyone behind you.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
