Q: How do I know which posters on LSE are brain-dead Muppets ramping a share that they know nothing about.

A: it's difficult to tell, but generally they follow a pattern. Any comment that includes the words "choo-choo", golden tickets or "US waking up soon" is almost certainly a brain dead pizza boy ramping the share from his bedroom in between visits to pornhub

I agree we don't need any detractors, but we also need some grasp on reality. 20p would be amazing from where we were at the start of 2021.

Quite amazing to have held CLP for over 2 years and yet as soon as i suggest maybe £2 isn't likely the newbies start filtering me.

I doubt £2, 20p would be a stunning success (100 times what I paid for my shares).

If someone tells you something is going to x100 bag, then unless they are the CEO of the company you should take it with a pinch of salt.

CLP will do just fine, but £2 (whilst I'd be more than happy with it), just isn't plausible

CAR3Y - whilst I agree that the share price today is cheap compared to what it should be in 3 months time, if you had bought the same monetary amount this time last month you'd already have 6 bagged even at the level right now - so I don't think this is cheap, and if I had a target to hit a certain amount of shares I'd certainly have been buying weeks ago sub 1p rather than today

I disagree, I'm a solicitor, I've lost count of the number of times I've turned up at a court expecting a trial to go ahead and then it gets adjourned right as we expect to start with no notice.

Equally I've been in the room, had the other party request a motion be presented and had it adjourned then and there as the motion asked for an adjournment that was granted

Those saying the company must have known obviously do not understand how courts work at all

No idea if it was a tree shake or not, but it did go on for longer than one normal does, usually its a short sharp drop rather than a consistent climb-down over a few hours.

Iceman - I agree with the basic point of your post but don't agree on the specifics. There are multitude ways to utilise the historic losses, mining bitcoin is certainly not the only way to realise them.

They will never work - the bulletin board suppresses it for security reasons.

If the poster puts some "spaces" in the URL it will be displayed but you won't be able to click on it, you'll need to copy and paste and then remove the space before putting into your browser

Absolute hogwash Pictland, the number of shares a company has is irrelevant. The market cap is all that matters, I suppose the only part of your statement that has some relevance is that with more shares in issue it is a little more liquid, but we know many of these are held by a very select number of individual entities so that is irrelevent.

Please don't post rubbish like "there are too many shares in issue..." it's irrelevant, someone with only Yr7 Maths would know that, I can't do anything about your lack of Maths skills, but we can remind others that your post is drivel...

I changed my holding pattern about a year ago. I now invest in companies I like the sound of in industries I can at least understand (not just based on charts).

When/if they double in price, I take out my initial investment and find the next target. I then let the remaining (pure profit) shares run along with the market. Sometimes this provides large wins, and others I lose some of the profit (but I'm still in profit).

This is how all the institutional investment vehicles work (in a simplified manner), so whilst I limit my chance of earth-shattering profits, I also increase the likelihood of a turning a decent profit.

No one should ever regret top-slicing to "lock in" a profit or selling early

I will top slice when this gets towards 4/5p.

Reason being been in for ages, average of 0.24p. so if I get shot of 5% of holding at 5p then I've taken my original stake back out - so everything from then on is just profit
