The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Sub, I wish there was a way we could cut Essar out altogether and give the 20% stake to the service provider (i.e. Schlumberger, etc.). How awesome would that be!
This is truly a disaster for COPL, a triple whammy nightmare. COVID-19, oil price war and now more disturbances from the 20% stakeholder. Add zero cash to this equation and things don't look very positive for COPL right now.
Sub, how could you possibly want this to go to court? COPL has ZERO cash if you're not somehow already aware. Legal fees and delays would crush COPL. This needs to be dealt with swiftly. COPL needs to get financing approved, there is essentially no time left in the current PSC as a well would take months to drill even if they got financing tomorrow.
Who is going to want to finance this now? This could drag on for years in court and COPL has no money. I'd say this is the final nail in the coffin for COPL. There is literally nothing to be optimistic about.
Charlie, this could drag on for months... We literally have no idea. We are all just pawns in the game.
MrNation, what the hell did Sub ever do to anyone? Any legit LTH knows you are the troll.
Art is just buying more time. We all know the balance sheet is going to show a big fat zero under the cash column. Maybe this will give him sometime to come up with a proper update and not the regurgitated copy paste update we always get each quarterly update.
dead money COPL still has to follow the CSE rules.
I read Nigeria has shut down the Senate? Guess that means we won't hear news anytime soon?
Well said, bonum!
Hopefully for your guys' sake he got deported back to whatever sh*t hole he's from.
Sorry mate... Wish you guys all the best and please stay healthy. This is above all more important than anything including money.
Best of luck to everyone, stay safe and healthy. I think most of us can agree that the chances of success are now quite slim. Perhaps Art can still pull this off, but I'm guess it's game over for COPL.
Sukhail, did the entire global market collapse before BOIL rose 1000%?
The market collapse and oil price collapse could literally not have come at a worse time for COPL...
Holy smokes, read a few of his posts from today. This guy literally has no clue lol. What a total clown.
WTI is at $33 per barrel. I'm actually quite worried about the deal now...
It was already discussed. It's old news. COPL put this out mid 2018.
Good point actually.
Not looking good at all. Hopefully this isn't having a negative impact on the negotiations and spooking investors. The share price action towards the end of the week suggests nothing positive that's for sure.
