i bought about 4 years ago at £1.70. Then after the crash in March/April, bought a tranche of Barc (and meggitt, aviva, RDSB). Now wondering what to do. Sell and take the gain or stay long-term and get the increasing dividends? 20 years until retirement.... also, am thinking, if/when the dow crashes later this year/next.... im wanting to get out of the FTSE stocks i have, sell, take the cash, and then reinvest all after the next crash/dip. But timing the markets is hard, but last year, made big gains .... next steps are tricky. Thoughts from other investors?

Think i did slightly better than that old boy bucolic..... i bought £1k at 84p about 15 years ago.... hey ho. I could have out £10k/£20k in at 14p and now sitting with 300% gain. But i didnt. I just dint believe. And very surprised. But you can only play how you see it. Good luck to you. Not quite true bucolic. It was FUM core delivery system. FUM themselves call it a vehicle. It's what medical devices like this are called. Its not a placebo.
Anyhow, FUM never intended Dermasys / MED3000 to be used by itself. But to transport an ED active compound through skin and a pain relief product through skin. Thats why the product for ED now being Dermasys is so high risk.... it really is just "alcohol and water"

because it was never meant to be used by itself. It was meant just to be a system (vehicle) to get through the skin barrier. Delivering the active ingredient (GTN). But the vehicle (solvent) - Dermasys (or MED3000) was as effective by itself as when it carried GTN through the skin. GTN was meant to work in the well known NO (nitric oxide pathway) io increase blood flow in pe1nis

lol Hey bucolic. Happy Sunday. Agree with all you said. The only difference is that MED3000 is a vehicle, not a placebo. As you said. Sorry to be predictable!

There is an important difference though. Placebo is inactive. Vehicle isnt quite "inactive". To explain. There is a treatment for eye infection - Ikervis. This contains a solvent (called Cationorm) and an antibacterial agent (cyclosporin). Now, in the trials to approve Ikervis, they found that the pure solvent (Cationorm) also had some soothing relief. So they got Cationorm approved as a medical device on its own. Now it purely was a vehicle (solvent) to dissolve cyclospoin. But it also soothed dry, irritated eye (althiough didnt treat eyes infected with bacteria).

This is similar to MED3000 and Med2005. And explains my dilemma. Yes, MED300 as the solvent (vehicle) could be approved as a medical device.... but also doubt about how successful it will treating a very serious condition like ED. Compare with Cationorm - doesnt treat eye infection but soothes. And both Cationorm and MED3000 are just "alcohol and water and some oil". Thats all factual and my dilemma.

Bought 28,000 units at 19p and further 12,000 units at 22p and 10,000 units at 37p. So total of just over 50,000 units. Now, great at increase and long term hold. But I'm tempted to see this dip to low 40s again and liquidate some of my other stocks and buy into this... to get the increase if/when the trial is a success......

If tomorrow FTSE goes higher due to all time high of Dow and if SBTX goes down further towards 35p.... Is this a worrying sign? Potentially first whispers of "mediocre"£ results from BRIGHT?

SBTX is currently market cap of about £60million and about 160million shares ? So the company has plans to be a £500mill company. Does this mean, if successful, the share price would be about £4?

I am heavily invested in SBTX. Got in at 19p and 38p. But I have been on psoriasis patient forums ---- no mention i have seen of SBTX or the BRIGHT study. Those pics were not real/really from BRIGHT study patients,

Note that these are from Feb 2020... so not sure how they caused the spikes a couple of weeks ago.

They also say "contain only alcohol and water" - good lay description of "DERMASYS technology" lol. So.... the ED "placebo" (more accurate - vehicle) is alcohol and water. And works by evaporation/cooling,.... bit like hand gel, no? People scorned that when i said it before. The active ingredient (MED2005) was no better than this MED3000 alcohol and water. Very strange Ph 3 results.

So darkhorse, where are you? ;) Not great market reaction to this news.... because china may be a large market, but profits and value from china is hard to exploit and Atlantis have got no concrete plans to distribute it.... so 50% share of profits that are not big is half of small.... just like the old condoms.

All still rests on EMA and FDA approval - and that is 2022.

I note decline from 24 to 20p. After the first excitement of the good news. I dont think by itself this will get you to fantasy island. Atlantis and its subsidary sound like opportunists to me.... not like established funding. But we will see

lol, when i said 2022, i was ridiculed. People saying "jan 2021, Feb 2021, March 2021".

How, pray tell, are FUM going to fund an ever disappointing revenue company when money runs out in 8 weeks' time???
