many thanks.again , they say it could take 8 weeks to sort , i've told them i will contact the financial ombudsman , which i have done. 450,000 shares they've oversold of mine and they were up 17% this morning bet i don't get compensated for that.

thanks for the reply , yes it said failed. i have spoken to IG they told me to email to the compliance dept. which can only contacted by email. not phone. i have phoned repeatedly and got the same answer we have to wait for the investigation to conclude , meanwhile i have lost a lot of money through no fault of my own. including 17% this morning.

i went to sell 150000 shares on Friday. APP says transaction failed ,
i reapeated the action again a minute later. again , failed . stupid me no internet connection. 30 miles from home. went into the golf club, tried again , again transaction failed.
finally got the password for the wi fi. repeated the sell , horray sold.
got home later checked the account. to find they had sold 600000 shares. and its a bank holiday.
