GROC, not groceries!

Long term holder here - I even went to college in Dolgellau :)

So if GROC did 10 bag from here (bear with me) and go up to £150m mcap, then am I right in thinking that our 23 ish % ownership by alba would put albas proportion of GROC at around £33M, which alone is roughly 7x our current mcap?

So alba won’t go up linearly with groceries of course as we have other assets, but still pretty good

Such a positive outlook, a 10bag being discussed from here (in that article) simply as part of the normal rise towards news in India (with the mcap expected to rise from the current 2% to 20% of the claim amount, factoring in gold price increases) and with confirmation that litigation funding is secure - and thats before any Africa updates :)

Given the recent rise, a lot of short term traders will be twitchy on how much higher it'll go this week - I sold at around 1p myself earlier today, to play it safe, as ive been stung too many times before on just holding for gold - so don't be surprised if now drops to 0.6-0.7p levels before re-testing 1p next week/on further news. Im biased now of course, as i'd like it to drop, but its a hard call to make as to which direction it'll go. Ultimately up im sure, but it could drop 30%+ first

Let’s call it a £3Bn claim, based on $22Bn gold (7M oz, and spot price currently over $3k per ounce), and then conservative costs of $10Bn to extract it

Then say we get 15% of the SoC.

So £450M, making it roughly an 11 bagger from here
