June 2020 when air travel was effectively 25% of what it is now and share price was £7.50.... roll forward 3 three years and record profits £4.37.... It's FTSE magician is working its magic - down is up and up is down... which way is up?
National Express share price in 1989 (34 years ago) was £1.0078... but with inflation that is £2.63 in todays prices.... so it has lost 66% in 34 years or c2% per year.... what has changed in that time???
Can anyone tell me because maybe I am thick - why is the share price dropping continually from when they announced record profits and more to come.... fires in isolated parts of Europe arent putting off people from travelling.... virtually everyone I know is travelling abroad...
Have seen it all... itm make a loss at the top end of expectations and this hopeless company that generates less sales than most aim companies goes up.... this is a totally hopeless company that will soon be looking to raise more money
The FTSE is the most bizarre stock market in the world. Wages grow - doesnt like that.... unemployment rises ... doesnt like that.... sales go up.... doesnt like that..... inflation drops like a stone... doesnt like that... its raining outside... doesnt lile that.... what the hell moves this monstrosity....
The lowest price of british land in the great recession in 2009 was £3.30 and thats £5.30 in todays price....

Where do I start....
Poor results....
Looked at 2018 accounts and latest six months account- both look broadlt y similar - though the share price has reduced by about two thirds.... I'm sticking with my shares in this one - share price reduction overdone!
