If however you’re interested in learning something the Market Wizards books are a good place to start.

However, you don't seem to understand basic market mechanics of supply and demand. The price can't and won't go up and stay up until all of the supply is absorbed by buyers.

Seems odd that you're upbeat about 143p being paid when 170p was being paid a week ago and 270p was being paid in April 2021.

All of the bagholders have to be cleared out, this will take a vast amount of time and money.

The problem is that AVCT has a history of failure and false dawns. Positive news today but I didn’t bother checking the share price as I knew it would go down. On the retail side I’m not sure there’s any money to drive the price up like there was during the hype around covid products because people lost a lot of money in AVCT, SNG and several others. I’d buy shares if I had funds but I’m trapped in a loss here like many others. There will be a move higher on positive read out but it won’t be anything like what people have touted. I have learned that lesson the hard way. About 18 months ago a very well regarded investor we all know said AVCT had never been better value @ £2.40 it subsequently collapsed to 40p. I hope to get out with a modest profit, this talk of £50 is comical. Another highly followed investor here and on twitter recently said the bottom was in at £1.30 before it collapsed into the 90s. That’s a huge percentage draw down.

Smith is to blame. The guy has been an abject failure. He seems to resent the fact that he has to answer questions from investors. The same people he dumped shares on at £1.80

He made numerous statements about affidx playing a key role in the fight against covid. The reason we have crumbled to this pathetic SP is because of him. If you make bold claims and fail to deliver you're a target for short sellers.

Consequently he has no trust from the market.

Furthermore, rightly or wrongly Myles had a lot of influence on fintwit I'd say that's pretty much evaporated now though. He said that AVCT had never been better value at £2.60

Sell what? They have no shares to sell. They borrowed them and will have to buy to cover their position.

The timing of their short suggests they have access to inside information. They will cover before any big news.

I've gone from 100% up to 55% down, so I am invested unfortunately.
