Apologies if already posted. Not only complaining about lack of LNG importation facilities, but citing the depleted Kinsale field as a missed opportunity for gas storage. We could of course help them out on both counts, in addition to producing g in a proven field.Just what will it take it wonder.
Ps. Also looks like the temporary generators to see them through winter 2022/3 won't be available until 2023..Given howong it takes to fix faults in power stations, I 'll bet now that will.not be until spring at the earliest..

Further to Sam's post, this article from Bloomberg highlights the reason for the Amber alert- one thing certain, they couldn't cite air con caning the grid in the August heat, Ireland isn't Texas.
-Low wind speeds
-Lack of electricity to import (intetesting, do we have very little spare to sell I wonder?)
- Outages at power plants (even.more interesting)
A year or so ago, I was quite the expert in which plants were up, down or partial closed, when repairs were due to be effected, slippage dates etc...
There is now practically nothing, no transparency, no reports in the Irish media, a news blackout? ..Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like but I genuinely believe supposedly democratic governments around the world have gotten a taste for media and big tech information control. First covid, next anything to do with energy if it doesn't suit their narrative..

The RNS of 8/6/22 seems quite clear cut:
“FRAM denies that ANY AMOUNT IS OWING TO PREDATOR PURSUANT TO THE WPA, and considers the various assertions made by Predator in yesterday's announcement to be devoid of any technical justification or legal basis.”
So denying owing PRD a single penny, not just the additional £11.5 m being claimed on top of the original £0.5m
Good Evening Mick, well said. I too recall Blissful as a drip, drip negative vibe merchant simply from the irony of his stupid stage name.
See below from CEG board. As you engage on occasions- is Incendros correct would you know? I thought Eytan was claiming they owe us absolutely jack, not just disputing the additional £11.5 m we are suing them for..
I'd disgregard most posters on their board, but he's been rather helpful when I 've raised queries in the past...
RE: Has anyone actually questioned Eytan?Thu 18:09
CEG owe over $500,000 to PRD - they are claiming more which CEG dispute but I’ve yet to see the justification from CEG - I don’t believe they dispute the amount I initially mentioned but if others know more let’s hear it !
My reading Tesla, of 'low carbon intensity' is in logistics of transportation. Local rather than building and maintaining long distance pipelines or shipping, liquidisation/regasification etc.
I may be wrong, of course.
As things stand, with current infrastructure or rather lack of, the only way they can secure gas supplies is from the UK via the Moffat interconnector. That is unlikely, we really aren't in a position to guarantee more..
So, those actions must therefore relate to either importation of LNG or allowing fresh drilling to source gas locally. Maybe both...
Good to have the choice as an option though Tesla even though it involves paying the Belgians through the nose. We also have interconnectors with France ,The Netherlands and Ireland though I don't foresee the Irish being in a situation to sell us any spare.
As with gas, Ireland is very vulnerable, there is a plan for an electricity interconnector with France but at present, they can only buy from the UK in an emergency..and if we are running short...
Sure we all get, why ethically a green hydrogen company should not be investing in an o ,& g company but why pull out now?
-We're expanding our CCS EOR operations in T & T
-Our gas plays in Morocco and Ireland- drilling, successor licences, storage and LNG FSRUs have now been classified 'Green'.
One thing no one can ever spin as having event a hint of Greenishness is Oil...is it for this reason I wonder that H2 decided they felt they needed to cut ties?
Morning Keith- you are correct, for 'true' green hydrogen, the electricity used in the process has to bee generated by renewables. That makes sense, what's the point in.producing hydrogen from water rather than fossil fuels if the electricity is used is generated from gas, oil, coal or peat?
However, the EU or anyone else for that matter, have yet to agree a way to verify that the electricity used is generated from renewables. For the time being, and this could take some time- all hydrogen produced by electroysis can be classified as Green.
Can kicked right down the road but what can we expect when gas and nuclear are classed green because it suits to do so. What next, burning coal is green because less harmful than burning peat?
Now then Pasta Belly, I've disagreed with Sefton in the past particular over comms- However like myself he has never he has never once talked PRD down - this is because like me, he is convinced that we really do have somenthing special here that we expect to dwarf all previous sucesses.
So let's distinguish between slating Flagstaff and running PRD down, in the manner Nigel, Redbox and sometimes yourself and Porters are guilty..
Sefton is nothing but consistent, he had the same problem with Flagstaff when we both held RBW...
SOU under the cosh at the moment. A cautionary tale regarding falling out with ministerial departments, particularly revenue in your host nation. I'm so pleased Paul and Lonny are working hand in glove with ONHYM, slowly but surely, under the radar, dotting 'i's crossing 't's and lining up many ducks..
Not running around like bulls in china shops, shouting loud to grab attention and counting chickens before hatched..

I've just realised something else to make me fume in regards to the hypocritical Irish eco lobby. The protest camp that they are setting up around the Shannon Estuary to stop the New Fortress LNG terminal proposal is almost on top of the site of Tarbert oil burning Power station, one of Ireland's largest and probably the filthiest. Why the hell are they not campaigning to close it down? -
Same goes for Ireland's largest power station at Moneypoint that burns coal and Edenbury that still burns peat would you believe?
Nice one Highlander, exactly what we've been saying for the past year or two on this board ..I don't do any social media other than this board (and BLOE / CEG when baiting Chesh :()) otherwise I'd be weighing in on T watter myself.
Anyone else with accounts for that disgusting censorious propaganda outlet, please consider wading into the Irish energy debate as well.
Not a Great analogy young Chesh. Travel sickness comes with twists and turns, rather like swerving around a high mountain pass in The Alps. The trading equivalent I suppose would be trading one of the lesser known crptos..
Trading BLOE or CEG/BPC/CERP/CERL is rather like a steady slow descent, from foothills to plains, never having reached mountainous height but an almost imperceptible slow gentle decline...
Stop Grooving with Mr Bloe and hop aboard the good ship PRD...
You did say you like spot of bantz my cheesy chum :()))..;
Not forgetting T & T MEM
Re Razorman's NED post- Tom Evans has been working on CCS and blue/green hydrogen. See below article in oilprice.com. I remember reading a year or so back that blue hydrogen was being converted to blue ammonia for shipping from either UEA or Qatar to Japan for ease of shipping, to be converted back to hydrogen at destination- Like liquidifying natural gas, you can transport a lot more for your dollar..
Could Paul's finger be on.the pulse re green ammonia I wonder? We have the contacts for trans Atlantic shipping, we have the partnership with Massey- they have lots of ammonia- we have the technology to help them make their grey ammonia green (or at least blue)
Opportunities abound...

More to the point Tesla, without an onshore LNG terminal or FSRU for importation, for 'imports', read 'imports' from the UK via the Moffat interconnector. Not only a single point of failure, they have nonger have any storage capacity and are soley reliant on a potentially belligerent non-EU member.
How does Eamon Ryan sleep at night?
Top find Tesla- first Irish politician from one of the governing parties I've seen mention non-fracked LNG. So much of the opposition to LNG has been coming from the anti- fracking angle despite PRD having committed to non fracked gas-
There now some clear blue water and hopefully it won't be long before LNG will be viewed as a necessary evil, and the eco minded can concentrate their energies opposing fracked LNG rather than LNG per se.
Anyone have any idea which politicians Paul was meeting with? Covers a whole host of possibilities from Dublin City councillors to MPs to Cabinet Ministers- could be Rural Independents (who seem to be the only grouping which doesn't view natural gas as a the breathe of satan, at least in.public) Sinn Fein or one of the government parties...
