Thanks Stevo.
The one thing that did surprise me is they still only have 35% signed up to support the deal.
I also like the fact they are testing the Wlidcat… Could be really good news…!!!… or.. lol
Hi Gents,
As our regular financial gurus I was wondering if either of you would be so kind as to share your thoughts on todays financial news. Greatly apprechiated.
Many thanks
NSS
Decent update pretty much as expected. Great news on Germany and the deal at large. And I like the fact they are testing.. They must have found something.. We shall see…
Bonker99.. Don’t feed the fish….
Can’t get Stockperks to work either. It’s won’t give me the blinkin credit….
In advance of some excellent news tomorrow I'd like to congratulate Harbour on the fantastic work thats happening..
Whilst I don't expect amazing news about current and recent financial results, its the future Im looking to.
We should have some drilling news tomorrow from Andaman, a couple of Norway discoveries and might be some Zama news.
But the biggie is how far has the Wintershall dea deal gone. We know their board have announced they will be stepping down after the deal and they must be confident that its a done deal....
So good luck all, heres to a decent day......
Looking at the sensations could the free cash flow be around 15$ million dollars for his quarter?….
Hope results aren't as bad for us.....
BP's first-quarter profit was hit by lower oil and gas trading, missing market forecasts, but the British energy company confirmed a $1.75 billion share buyback.
The London-based oil-and-gas giant said Tuesday that underlying replacement-cost profit--a metric similar to net income its U.S. peers report--was $2.72 billion, a marked decline from $4.96 billion in the same quarter last year. This missed a forecast of $2.87 billion, according to a company-compiled estimate from 24 analysts.
Another door close and another increase in revenue…
Every little helps…..
Expecting huge drilling news next week hopefully positive.
Good news from the Wintershall deal, a decent financial result and on we go.
With the AGM done and dusted and near term plans about the deal moved on…we could start the SP with a ……3

Not to long to wait with AGM and update due in coming week.
We also have major drilling news due and if we hit again all the better…
Pretty Negative but important to listen to all sides….
Any thoughts???

Carnival may have been profitable in just one quarter over the last four years, but look where the ship is headed. Carnival's guidance last month called for an adjusted profit of $1.28 billion, or $0.98 a share. This finds Carnival trading for just 14 times this year's earnings.
The horizon gets even more snapshot friendly if you look out even longer. Analysts have been jacking up Carnival's fiscal 2025 prospects with every passing quarter. Wall Street pros are now modeling adjusted earnings of $1.42 a share for the next fiscal year that starts in December. Yes, the slide in Carnival's stock this year finds it now fetching just 10 times next fiscal year's profit target.
Hi Ancient,
I posted this a couple of days ago but it sure shows how everyone is now banking on the deal going through.
£3 is beckoning....What will the Yanks do to us ???
Yes,
Some very positive things happening here and the odds on the deal going through are getting better and better. I think production will be 460-480 BOPD when we first kick off but will hopefully rise well above 500k next year.
Im particularly excited about Algeria and all for us focusing there and cashing out in Mexico but who Im sure Harbour will make the right decisions.

Be interesting to see how they get on. Will the WFT start to break? I know they are Irish but same applies surely?
