Sadly, Im now out of cine with the intention of buying back on any positive news about waivers as it's a very risky share until the news about waivers come out.
I was in with the intention of a LTH but things seeming to be getting a bit more complicated with Cine now bringing in AlixPartners ( they already had PJT partners before ) it does not look good
I hope we hear some better news in the coming weeks .
I sold 50% of my stock on the rise , however - Any suggestions if this may be a right time sell all and get back in after any positive waiver news ?
Any suggestion would be really helpful guys
This seems like another big pre-plummet time sadly
I was really hoping for some positive news - but given that Cine have had to hire another firm to help with the debt restructure - it looks like getting the waivers is not as easy as they have have earlier anticipated.
Difficult times ahead imho.
Im long on Cine and been holding strong so far - but my thoughts are :
Without any positive news about the waivers - we have possibly just hit the highest point this can get to , we could very well be down from here. (Unless there is any good news about the waivers or opening dates)
Major sells today reflect this view.
I do not want to ramp or deramp but a cautious approach is worth at this moment
I am tempted to sell 70% to 80% of my holdings and get back when there is any positive news about waivers in the coming weeks / months. I cannot afford a big loss here unfortunately as I had gone ALL IN on this one.
Fingers crossed for another rise tomorrow .
Will look forward to your findings @Stevek1972 !! this is a heavily manipulated stock imo
@IndyNial
Are you from sheffield ? I love the meadowhall Cineworld revamp. Really hope it reopens sooner than later when the good films are out.
its a difficult and stressful time for LTHs and I'm just hoping there is some good news !
@Insi - Well said as always .
Still holding strong.
@ShorterGuy - wrong
What a joke mate. Do you think covid will go on forever ? Are you thick ???
The debt cannot grow much when ALL Cinemas are closed until 2021 .. and then the 700+ cinemas money machine starts generating barrels of $$$$ in 2021
@ShorterGuy - what happens when those 700+ cinemas open for a blockbuster 2021 lineup :-D
2nd largest cinema chain in the world and 700+ cinemas - can you imagine how much cash it can generate YoY ????
This debt does not seem much when you look at other major businesses around the world
Note - The Debt is mainly because CINE bought Regal which owns 70% of the cinemas
Completely agree @racandfz - It will be stupid to kill a cash cow that has shown good YoY returns .
Cineworld management has taken the right decision ti shut and well in time . AMC & VUE is still partially open with no big films , burning a lot more money while we stay shut.
This places us well for a speedy recovery for 2021
I wonder what is the cash burn when all their cinemas are closed ? The telegraph article seems a bit uncalculated in terms of the required debt figures . Cineworld required 250 to 300m before closing in case they stayed open until december end. Now that the cinemas are closed - Im guessing the required debt to get through to apr 2020 will be negligible in terms of operating costs.
they increased % of voting rights through financial instruments , what does that mean ?
anyone seeing any big buys waiting on L2 ?
Cloud$hiT€ filtered . what a nuisance!!!
This board is full of nutters today. esp the one cloud****e . Such people make us miss shamus12 lol
chaps . any clue why this is tanking today ??
Given you are not invested in Cine , you shouldn't worry about this . How about you find another board to annoy people ? Do you not have any self esteem ?
@boix - you are wasting our time , glad you asked !
