Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
We were down 25% yesterday on trades totalling 1.3m. Bearing in mind there are 667m shares altogether, it's either just MMs messing around or there really aren't very many shares in free float.
Oh good. Just a shake. Phew.
I hope this is a shake rather than someone with some inside knowledge. Volumes are small so at least that's something.
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130729/pdf/42h9d4qdgn2cw3.pdf Ok ,so Deutsche Bank have shown their hand (I am more than happy with that!) but I wonder who are the european IIs are as arranged by the Special Committee putting up A$5m? Well, CRHL certainly fits that bill ! GXY certainly seems to have a future, which is very encouraging.
The article is split into two parts. The first part is about COOL and the second part for Resgen. It's Resgen that needs the $250m, not COOL but otherwise, yes, your cautious message about funding for Resgen is worth noting.
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130726/pdf/42h89xwcnpzsf8.pdf I'm pretty sure the Creat Group are one of the Bondholders.

http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130718/pdf/42h3zkplbb3j5h.pdf A technical issue has arisen so they need to sort it out. The bottom line is that they need to find out if Korea really are interested rather than just trying to buy more time. Maybe it's not that surprising what with what else is going on with GXY at the moment. Maybe let the dust settle from that before Korea make a final decision.
Now extended to 17 July. The drum roll extends for a few more days! http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130712/pdf/42h0z4cnr8vgcc.pdf
Scrub that - the rate has bombed 2% after Mr Carney's first MPC meeting, meaning the business rate is currently at A$1.6487 !
Business rate at present is A$1.676 to the £1. On that basis A$0.08 is £0.0477p. Depends if you're going to get business rates on your transfer though. If you transfer through banks, they give you their conversion rates, which aren't so good. If it's a fair bit of money, you will get a better rate if you use currency specialists rather than your usual bank. I used these guys for a one off payment when I bought a house in the US and saved myself a few thousand pounds just on the currency transfer alone: http://www.hifx.co.uk/
Yes, a bit more waiting unfortunately. I see the minimum subscription has increased from $8m to $12m. I wonder if they have done that as they have someone prepared to plough in $4m straight off (great if it was CRHL) and they still think that they can still get a further $8m as originally planned. A bit far fetched I know but there must be a reason why the minimum has increased by 50%.
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130702/pdf/42gtvqpjgwj9c1.pdf I'm about to go into a meeting but will read through it at lunchtime.
The finance and the petition are 2 separate matters, as you say. What is encouraging though, albeit we don't know the detail, is that AFE seems to have a bit of fight left in it yet otherwise why bother contesting the petition?
Still no new prospectus as yet. The longer it is delayed, the better as far as I'm concerned as there might be a point where they say it is not needed after all as the Special Committee has sorted things out without a RI.
Very interesting. A Creat representative in the Special Committee is very good news.
Yes, I saw that program. Half of the world's estimated spply of Lithium is in that lake. They were certainly bigging up Lithium's prospects which bodes well for GXY who are years ahead of any production from that lake. Getting the stuff down from 4,000m without any current infrastructure isn't going to be cheap or easy. GXY are in the right place at the right time and CRHL should be backing them all the way.
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20130625/pdf/42gnw9l2pfs5rx.pdf I suspect that there are going to be some major changes to the RI terms. Let's see what these are on Friday. In my dreams it will say that a lot less funding will be needed now as CRHL will substantially increase it's holding to 19.9% after the RI !
