Something is wrong .In the last half hour very few buys shown.I have two accounts so I have experimented buying on one and selling on the other.For selling no quote was available on buying I bought in the low 2.50's but shown as a sell.
Very is every financial argument for MA to buy if he has the money as at the level he is likely to bid is so low.Any other costs he has to pay really have matching assets and myself being a born and bred retailer I can see how quickly this company could be turned round after a period of neglect

On the noticeboard there are buys going as sells again.I bought 200k at 13-47 which is shown as a sell.Could be MM's closing shorts maybe

Buys are staring to catch up the sells from this morning.There is now only 5 million between them.Bodes well for trading this afternoon

This hare will start to soar on the next RNS.There will not be another placing until at least two of the wells are drilled and have some positive information.There is no way they would do a placing at this level of price as it would dilute existing shareholders by too much

Although the price this morning is a little sluggish,I think buying volumes will pick up during the day and the price will go up.I think that the reason for the slower morning is that most of the articles that were in the papers over the weekend were old articles which keep cropping up as new ones on the feeds saying the loan route is a done deal.I noticed over the weekend even on this feed it came up again and again.I am sure contact between MA and BOD has been made and look forward to a positive result.

Share price still holding up.Bid most probably will come in by Thursday.Currently the advisors most probably are talking to eachother in order that when the bid comes it will not be thrown out on technicalities.
This a company that has much promise for the future if it gets its act together

The reason for the RNS is in the last RNS from Debenhams in which it said it would be contacting MA to discuss the various routes.His reply knowing that either they ar already talking or they have a meeting planned for today is to pile on the pressure on them to treat him fairly and if they do not there will be problems for them in the courts.I am sure a bid will be coming in the next few days.This share will go up today

I am sure there will be a bid.What some people on this thread do not understand is that there are only two owings,Current debt and bondholders.The new debt has not been spent yet and most probably is earmarked for specific things.Thecompany has tremendous assets that nobody speaks about.There are fixed assets which are only worth something when there is a running business ie that's why the new cafes were able to take over Valerie's spaces so quickly.There is the stock,goodwill and Magasin.Hence why the lenders would be quite happy to take the business next week if MA does not get it.Also pension scheme is in credit.There are many savings to be had by MA combining back office functions with HOF.Rmember all shares trade art a multiple of assets and this company is most probably even with their hopeless management is trading at a profit without financing costs.

The costs of moving staff is very expensive indeed ,but in this instance will pay back loads in quite a short time.However if they are moving in November they will need to act fast to reshape the tore in oxford street and to do in time I can tell you will be very expensive.The move date could not be for a retailer at the worst time of the year.I a sure that the BOD have not looked at properly at the extra savings they can make at little extra cost which would not entail them to close three trading floors.

I still believe that MA will buy and that the shares will jump sharply on Monday.However I do not think the offer will be much more than the 5p .This creepy and bad BOD have laid a trap as they are mentioning the amount of debt that he has to sort out together with the cashfloe.The very fact he had already pron-ised at least £150 million and they only needed £101 million urgently shows that they were not going bust.The reason I think they needed this money was to pay for some new stock but more than likely they need to start paying some serious money to get out of leases.For instance they most probably have to pay to get out of the Head office lease alsothey are going to need to spend millions converting three trading floors to offices in Oxford Street as well as relaying the remaining floors.What a wase of money as all was only done four or five years ago

I just realised that if the company was put into a prepack ,the new owners could make the entire BOD redundant as they would remodel the company whereas if taken over the contracts would be intact and they would get paid out a small fortune so the do need MA.
Upside you really are getting quite boring with your inane comments all day.Do you not realise that to make MA new empire work properly he has to have Debenhams.The leases you quoted earlier could be applied nearly to all retailers and they would all go broke.Have an early night and sleep off what you have been taking

Your posts are inaccurate as you only quote one section not the main item.You must really be a bad person if you do not understand that as you are misleading people to what end I do not know.
All I do know is the current BOD I am sure will have legal challenges if they do not behave correctly.

The cornwall newspaper article has to be read in full .No different than this morning RNS and the market is quite positive that MA will bid

We are in the last twenty minutes of trading and buys still are twice as many sells as people start to stock up for what hopefully will be a good start to the next quarter

Next week the new quarter stars.As it was announced that things will start to happen in the second quarter I expect that the momentum in this share will start next week.I would not be surprised if this afternoon there stars to be a large surge of buys.

Upside They mentioned shareholders right at the start as they left an option which depended on the largest shareholder.

Whether or not MA makes a bid or not or takes the other option re rights issue which would include all shareholders,this company has a bright future and I think on balance MA will get it
As we approach the end of the trading day I am sure the share price will spike just look at the buys today.

Look at the amount of buys compared to sells over 2to one.I am sure a lot of shorts have closed today to make sure they do not get burnt on Monday once offer is in.
MA has to get acceptance of board for deal as they have structured the deal in such a way that makes it harder for MA to bid,but he will as there are so many savings he can make

Just recently looked at the buys again there seem to be some big ones.I am sure before the afternoon is out thare will be another spike in the share price awaiting maybe an announcement on Monday morning

If one looks at the buys going through it could be that MA is the buyer .If he buys a significant amount under 3p then it would not cost him as much if he upped his offer to say 6p plus.Whatever the final outcome the spread in the last five minutes has narrowed to virtually the selling price.
