Why are most people so gloomy as although it was a terrible rns on Thursday which showed JD in a bad light there is still cause for optimism. The current market price is very low and some big firms will still view this as a bargain price and come up with bids which also might bring back JD to make another offer. If there were a rights offer we could certainly vote against a proposal to delist which would if it happened would not help current shareholders and I think it should also be not an equity raise bet a full rights issue.
Still think it is a bargain at current levels.Even an equity raise although will dilute holdings in the very short term I doubt that when done the average price would be around twenty pence and with it they would not have to use the loan as the funds would be sufficient so there would be additional savings on financing and with the planned savings would make the company back into profit and the share price would follow. There is nothing to stop the other big players come in and put an offer in at higher than the current price,so there is everything to play for
It looks like this afternoon buying has commenced and hopefully there will be another bull run looking for news early next week and hopefully the price will recover this afternoon as who would want to be out over the weekend
Again more buys than sells and the price is down again.Someone is buying on the cheap. My view is that a deal is certainly still on as if it was not then there would have been an announcement by now saying it was off to cease any speculation. They would have also issued an rns to say what their next steps would be.I just think they are playing with the final numbers of the takeout
I believe the company will get taken out before the end of the month.I bought more last week and I am making a small loss on my holding currently but have no doubt that when the offer is made the price will be a lot higher than today
I think something must be happening through a leak or something as some big buys coming through. We all know that when the good news comes the shares will rocket. It is a shame that it has taken so long but better late than never
The shakeout happened first thing this morning and was not that great. As the day moves on wiser investors realise it is only a matter of time until the bid comes,by delaying the bid JD has also lowered the price he needs to aim at.So in my view when Wall street opens there is every chance that this will move forward again and you never know could turn blue by the end of the day
Buying is really strong with some big buys. This company is certainly going to be taken out at a price significantly higher than today's price.I think it will most probably be sold at between £1 to £1.20 which is still lower than it was trading just over a year ago and really depends how much it is worth to its suiters. In my view it is a trophy company that has much potential.
As I said yesterday I expected the share to start really moving up over the next two days unless we get an RNS in the morning. What I did not mention is that I went to the meeting a few years ago when JD took back control and there were many loyalists who held shares and for that reason alone I am sure that he would not want to to let them down.I still think there will be a bid at a much higher price than the share is today so I purchased my last tranche before we get news as the market is very tight at the moment
With only Wednesday Thursday and Friday to go I would expect the share price to go up each day without any leaks as wen or if an offer is made I am sure it will be significantly more than the current price, but only time will tell
With the deadline due on Friday there will surely be a bid, however not sure as to price but whatever the agreed price will be it will be a significant increase to the current price and cannot understand why the shares are not already higher. However it gave me the opportunity to buy some more today
IMO I think it is highly likely that when we wake up on Monday there is likely to be at least the emerging of either a new bid from another party or an increased bid. Whether either will be a knockout or if only one comes whether there will be room for an increased bid.My view is that this share is massively undervalued and going forward I think there will be plenty of ways that margins can be increased as they currently are very small indeed.Curry's seem over the last few years have been just reducing costs rather than expanding.Their shops are understaffed and it is not pleasant to shop there. This could be changed very quickly indeed
I think there is a hefty chance we will get an RNS on Monday with the first offer but it could be on Friday 1st.Why I originally think it could be Monday that would give whoever it is to buy shares during the week closing the opportunity of any other companies to accumulate
