What a bunch of misinformed r*tards. You would think it being an IT site, there would be someone with knowledge there. https://forums.theregister.co.uk/forum/1/2018/05/22/register_ebook_micropayments_trial_satoshipay/?post_received=1
It makes perfect sense. All publishing is turning to subscriptions. Look at the FT. No one wants to sub to all of these, Satoshipay offers the best option imo. No login needed, micropayments to content you actually want to read.
Check out the wikipedia page for more on them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Register Around January 3, 2018, The Register broke news about Google's long-ongoing investigation into Intel's processor design, which revealed that a serious flaw in the design of their chips would require Microsoft, Linux and Apple to update operating systems for computers around the world They got it first!

What kind of news is everyone expecting, to not be disappointed? I think i would be happy with 150-200 publishers signed up (happy with small/unknown names) plus a steady stream of revenue coming in. This can then be built upon as the potential is has now been show. Other bigger publishers may now be even more tempted as they look for alternative revenue streams
I've stocked up for the last time. I've got a decent amount (what i can afford anyway...) and i am hoping for a really big explosion in SP... I wonder what the SP for Blu will top at...how about 1p? (overoptimistic/underestimate)
Might be helping the sp, not a massive amount though given our %: Denmark-based debit card company Dankort has teamed with biometric identification and authentication service providerSthalerto create a self-service payment system. The service will allow 21,000 students and 600+ academic staff at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) to make a purchase in a restaurant and coffee shop using only their finger. While customers at the Costcutter store on campus at Brunel University in London are already paying at point-of-sale using Fingopay to identify themselves, the CBS launch by Dankort and Sthaler will extend the solution to a self-service restaurant environment.
Surely in the next few weeks we'll get the news of publishers. I do wonder how they will sort the problem with the inflation. By that i mean, last year you could buy like 100,000 lumens for 5 or so on their site. Now you can get 20 for 5. How will that problem be sorted as i cant see people wanting to pay 0.25 to read an article?
Made me feel a little more comfortable reading that. I got spiked on the last big rise so i'm bleeding out a little. I'll wait it out as i do believe in the tech and Meignhard, i would just like them to release who they're working with.(just out of curiosity). Where exactly will they be targeting? Donation sites? Patreon? Indie musicians? News papers? Articles? Online art selling? (Like deviant art) Something even smaller? Anticipation is killing me. (also, i wonder if they actually read these BB's?
