dsmith, if this does happen I cannot see it having a dramat effect on our mining licenses when we get them, they would be very small scale in a vast area. Miners and investors need to allow the local communities to benefit from the riches of their land otherwise there will always be opposition to foreign investment. Let’s face it how would we all feel if we were told we could not dig for diamonds or gold on our own land but someone else could. I think there’s more than enough to go round and share.
No I know it’s not Sardy but you what I mean, the longer we wait on news the more chance the SP has of sliding and the harder it is to get back up. Apologies but just feeling despondent at the moment.
To sum it up, Vast has so much to offer, but as yet is not returning any value to shareholders. Certain people always saying next few months or next year will be Vast’s year but we heard all that last year. Sentiment and bad PR helping to hold this share back at the moment, so although AP and his team have done a great job they need to start making it worthwhile to invest here.
FHP, I agree a gentle rise is favourable but even that seems quite optimistic at the moment. Apologies for sounding negative but patience well and truly wearing thin.
Thanks Lee appreciate that but if you were an ii and you wanted in, why would you wait to pay a premium. Not trying to disagree just trying to get my own head around it.
Why would we want an institutional investor to buy up the planned headroom when we have so many existing shares floating around. If they brought in now they would hopefully be getting a better price than at the next placing and helping out to soak up these shares. Why would an institution wait to pay more. Would appreciate an honest opinion, thanks.
People are selling now because even though the long term outlook looks amazing, at present this share is a bit of dog. Unfortunately didn’t take the opportunity to sell in the last week so have no choice now but to sit it out, no matter how depressing it is.
