Spreads getting tight. Hardly any liquidity anymore. Even if these shorts close out off-exchange, it's still going to be hard work finding the shares.

I watched a podcast with their CEO, and he goes through what he terms "crises". The usual suspects... GFC, Euro sovereign debt ... But then he mentions GameStop.

Odd, as Schonfeld were never publicly short GME. But they belong to the same class as Melvin - vulnerable when their usual "models" break.

Just finished the AGM.

Was tempted to ask what the CEOs message would be for the shorters, but there wasn't a webcast and I doubted any of them were in the room. But he did well enough anyway. Most of the questions weren't shareholders, just people who bought shares to launch a complaint.

He needs to grow his confidence though. Chair did most of the heavy lifting.
