Traderdan you obviously haven't been taking much notice then also for example a 2mw wind turbine would average out at about 1.5 million pounds

Agfa’s Zirfon membranes make alkaline electrolysis the most efficient technology to produce hydrogen. A recent study by the Fraunhofer Institute using Agfa’s ZIRFON separator membranes confirms that the Alkaline ElectroLysis (AEL) technology can be as efficient as the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology and is able to operate at high current densities. This presents AEL as the most cost-efficient hydrogen production system.

As an electrolysis technology, AEL is confirmed by the study to have a higher efficiency than PEM but when comparing the efficiency of low temperature electrolyser systems using respective technologies, PEM used to offer the advantage of operating at higher current densities.

The Fraunhofer report now also shows that when Zirfon membranes and quality electrodes are used, AEL is close to reaching the same current densities as PEM. This presents AEL as the most cost-efficient hydrogen production system since both the material investment and operating cost (OPEX) for reaching this level of current densities are notably higher for PEM than AEL, especially in the case of large size installations.

The AFC EV charging stations certainly have a place, if not just for an interim period which would likely span years, though I am slightly concerned by their requirement to have an internal battery for times when there is no load. It is likely not a huge inconvenience to customers but is a bit of a nuisance in the speccing process I imagine.

Britain’s National Grid warned on Monday the country’s electricity supply margins are expected to be tight this week.

“We’re forecasting tight margins on the electricity system this week (from tomorrow onwards) owing to a combination of weather-related factors and unavailability of power sources over periods of the day with higher demand,” National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) said via twitter.

Several of the country’s nuclear power plants are currently offline, while there are also forecasts for low output from Britain’s wind farms over the coming days.

A3: We expect results next month from AFC Energy, there won’t be an awful lot in those results we don’t think as it clearly takes time for the revenue to be generated. So, we wouldn’t be expecting any ABB revenue in these results and clearly, we’d expect the business to be loss making as well and equally, we’d be expecting the company to be investing in these opportunities.

So, the results we don’t think will say a lot, the bigger catalyst is probably any new strategic collaborations, further progress on Extreme E etc., these are probably going to be the bigger catalysts. It’s the unscheduled strategic alliances and collaborations which we think will be more important.

It's amazing how all these new posters apear on days like today .They don't have a clue about afc or come to think about it probably most the stocks they bash .
