Right. Just been speaking to a supplier of ours. His wife is on chemo. She’s been very unwell for a good while now sadly. He gets to telling me about this drug that they called the Red Devil. Says how it makes your pee red, etc etc but she’s on an experimental version. Now this fella isn’t the worlds smartest but he tells a good story. He says “they’ve got her on this trial, and the doctor goes to me, “she should be on this much but she’s actually on this much”” he then does a hand gesture to show she’s on a lot more. And I said is the drug called Doxorubicin by any chance? And he says “yeah that’s the one!” He asked me how I know and I just gave a vague reasoning because I suddenly felt like a vampire while this poor bastards talking about his very sick wife. He says she’s responded really well and she’ll be spending Christmas at home. Again I didn’t probe any further, plus what would I even ask? “Did they take biopsies?!” I actually felt terrible talking about it to him. On one hand I was thinking oh my god this is incredible. And the other overwhelming feeling was oh my god this is **** horrendous for him.

I couldn’t get more detail out of him, firstly I felt like a **** asking too many questions about the drug and not his wife, but do we know any other company who are trialling dox at double the dose? I know none of this means anything because without numbers/biopsies it’s just an anecdotal story but it’s crazy to actually come across someone who (I think) knows someone who was on the trial.

Post read out I think a lot of the head **** of this share will vanish. And by head **** I mean the guesswork.

Can you please explain how one could invest without speculating? Since investing is literally speculating that the stock is undervalued. Thanks.

I think the reason we aren’t rocketing is a lack of trust of AS and his timelines. This time it isn’t the fault of PIs assuming this cohort would match the last. It’s logical at a higher dose and the descending length of time each cohort has taken that it would be finished by now. But people have been stung before by timelines and rightly don’t want to pile. If it’s working, we will find out. When that is could be in 10 minutes, and it could be by year end. Who knows. Til then it’s for the traders or those who’ve had enough and those who want more. It’s drifting on an ocean. Like a log. In a shumper.

He’s incredibly emotionally attached or he’d be so secure in his opinions and analysis he’d quietly sit in the background trading. Not once has he joined in conversations about fundamentals. He’s a FUDdy Duddy.

I do though, BITL, believe there’s a degree of MMs helping MMs including Avacta being quite leaky and wink wink boys, here’s some options at 95p, even though we could have done it sooner for an higher SP (repeat for the raise at 120 inc for talks with the wood flooring company for a year beforehand) but then I am incredible paranoid. Agreed BITL. P1a proves dox can be safely delivered. That’s the entire point of P1a. Dox with low side effects and no MTD is ground breaking.

Sitian, you’re talking out of your ****. This is not about one drug, or short term gains on testing, it’s about proving the safety of an entire platform worth tens or hundreds of billions.

I’m not sure about that Oxygen. I think news will steady the ship a lot higher than we are here but P1b coming to an end, more data etc will replace PIs with IIs and I’d imagine it’ll then peak Big Pharmas interests. FAP after all has so far been impossible to crack. Even ROCHE are working on it. I believe they’d be more than happy to splash a few billion to take it off our hands. We do need to get off AIM though.

Yeah but RAH they could just be increasing the doses even though it doesn’t work; “morning Mr Smith, don’t mind if we keep injecting you with this absolutely pointless chemo do you? I say chemo, it’s basically just water.” Seems real likely. Thing is it doesn’t matter what the logic is, we just have to put up with the nonesensicle SP.

We do have a very active 10/20k seller today it must be said. I remember a while ago we had one that went on for weeks. Eventually they ****ed off and we screamed north. For a while anyway. Christ this is boring isn’t it.

Just seems odd that Longs are closed on IG then the price loses 4/5p, preventing increases in leveraged trading and leaving it to those buying in trading accounts/ISAs to decide what to do. Stinks really. I was expecting an RNS to pop up with that kind of sudden action.
