The thing is the article doesn’t say he said anything at all about the Avacta test. Emily Dugan brought up Avacta in her report because when she asked for Mologic to contact her she then got bombarded with info. She’s collated the info based on Twitter sound bites, one being that Avacta can’t be sold here but can in Europe. She’s then bashed the lot together in an article and then lots have jumped to conclusions, ergo that Tim Peto said Avacta failed. He didn’t say that. And as I said in my first post today if you read it that he said this then you’re either a rat with an agenda or you’re simply illiterate.
Peto now showing he isn’t aware of Avacta shows 2 things; firstly that he isn’t involved in the day to day regarding the 80 LFTs that need to be reviewed, and secondly that the earlier comments made that he said we failed are totally untrue.

Noticed this from you on the NCYT board. Just a quick one, can you quickly explain why it is you think that it shouldn’t be the right of every child in the U.K. to go to university one day? And since it was the working classes Blair targeted in his aim to send all children to uni, do you think all working class are “dumb” or is it just specific ones? Thanks Karen. How come I can’t order the tests in Latin? I know it’s a dead language but my doctor still uses it to write my itchy bum hole prescriptions. What about a section where they use interpretive dance to explain CT values? I have a bit of a thing that’s come to me tonight. An old contact who actually writes science pieces (freelance) often for the daily Mail, telegraph, etc and I’ve reached out to her tonight. Whether or not she gets back to me, would many here be willing to bullet point the main points of interest (corruption) that has led to this LFT/U.K. diagnostic scandal and I will put it to her? I mean from the top from contracts not paid to the bottom where porton down won’t even pass our tests to the procurement of Chinese tests through U.K. companies and sub companies etc. It would be a great help to just bullet point the whole thing so I can make it clear. I genuinely believe they will help us here and get it published in one of the National papers. As a side note I don’t want it to be Avacta specific but including the likes of NCYT, ABDX and ODX.
