I've been watching N4P maybe 6 months or so. Definitely a good entry point - annoyed at myself for not waiting to buy in, to be honest! I bought in I guess between 8.2p and 10p at various points. (10p was just a few shares - mostly around this level.)
Holy **** - it's still dropping! :(
I have been umm'ing and ahhh'ing about selling and investing elsewhere - e.g. AMTE Power up 25%+ since I considered selling N4P over a week ago. However, I am holding out still... I am listening to the interview of Nigel, and it all does still sound very positive. I just then don't really understand the 20% over the past couple of weeks. I've lost money at the end of the day - really hoping something good happens to this stock soon.
Positive new is coming soon.
I find it hilarious that the prospects of tweaking Viagra in 2018 raised the SP to 30p+, but the prospect of delivering cancer treatments or vaccines has thus far only raised it as high as 13p. I guess there's more money in healthy people's erections than in saving dying people.
Purely on a graphical basis, the stock is due a positive RNS. It will soon jump to the next level. Patience needed.
It's obviously because he enjoys speaking with the heads of companies he is invested in. Duh.
Hi Hall123 - yes, I think Bidnolid was mainly just answering my question. It's good to know that it's drop from 30p previously was under completely different circumstances, and now just history.
Yeah, I think that's pretty unfair Homer - I was just curious, and he answered pretty succinctly. I think if anything, if people want to know why it was a 30p plus stock, then down to as low as 4p, then they can see this was a distant history and not relevant any more.
Someone mentioned about reaching 30p soon. I can see N4P broke 30p in 2018. What happened then to make it rise so high? Anyone know?
And then why did it lose that level later in 2018?
Well - it is what it is. It's a company in its pre-profit research cycle. Its share price is therefore based on its promise, and that promise varies by news on its progress, which is not like companies reporting profit and loss.
What's spooking people?
From recent article on research-cycle companies like N4P, not yet generating a profit: "It may already be apparent to you that we're relatively comfortable with the way N4 Pharma is burning through its cash. For example, we think its cash runway suggests that the company is on a good path."
Dust is blown about by a light breeze... a tumbleweed rolls past... somewhere a
Awaiting pre-AGM news....
Point is, buy now, or hold. This stock is hot and going to take off!
Thanks expru2000 - useful notes!
Thanks Hall123! I don't get why this forum ends up being an episode of Jerry Springer. Feels like we have a few trolls in here.
I would just say that the "warning of caution" from the lawyer should be seen in the following light:
I work with lawyers in my job, where professionals such as me and they are both giving advice to clients about the same prospects and potential issues. We give the balanced view, while the lawyers always give a pessimistic view. It's their job to be pessimistic, and focus on the risk of failure.
correction - I meant back to c.9-9.5p area, before then realising the bigger gains next week. :)
