True, but you have to think bigger than that. Think about the global demand... if I was a huge country fan, I might indeed watch the concert. Just because covid is 'over', doesn't mean every single person in the world is going to travel to America to watch their favorite artist. Think about the PPV model for fights or artists streaming live events. Coldplay could sell a million tickets for £1 to watch an immersive live experience from your home, they could then sell a load of NFTs from the concert so people can own a little piece of the event, etc. Especially as bands like that tour less because of the environmental impact of touring. It's the future

I wouldn't write it off as non-revenue generating so quickly. iHeart will probably be paying for eMusic's services to host the event on the platform. There will also be money coming in from the sponsorship deals, like Capitol One who will be paying a nice listing fee to appear as the main sponsor. You then have the royalties coming in for broadcasting licensed music etc

I imagine the 7dig offices are just rooms tumbleweed rolling around. It must be hard work scrambling around on the last day of every month to find something to put in the newsletter. Perhaps an update on tumbleweed would be useful. How many bails this month, how many bails are expected next month, and so on. At least we would have something to talk about

I've been invested in 7dig for around 18 months, seeing the highs and lows. Luckily I'm averaged down to a comfortable price. I do have to say though, after 18 months it is easy to become fairly frustrated with the lack of news. Stay positive I guess!

Suey - I think it's a fair point you make. Granted, some positive news is needed, but NEW business is what we all want to hear about. Regardless if anyone disagrees with you, the market seemed to see straight through it too. Look at the share price!

Leaden, I wholeheartedly agree. I've been a 7dig shareholder for well over a year and a half and this has been a continual theme. Nothing to say for me means they are not winning the contracts they always promise are coming. I still hope things change and RNS come flooding in

I'm hoping the delay to the January investor newsletter is because they're going to announce a big contract win in the morning and post it in the afternoon...

Shame no RNS, maybe it isn't significant enough income to deem necessary?! Still, jobs are being posted on Linkedin and new contracts are being signed. Let's see the positive!

I remember Arden publishing something last year about a 3p target price.

Does anyone have access to Arden's platform? Have there been any iterations to that target since? Or any more research published since by Arden?

7dig has issued trading updates for the last three years around the end of Jan/early Feb. Hoping we get one soon and it's good news

Just a thought, as nobody seems to know the reason for this rise. Could it be to do with the recent buzz around Universal Music and the live streaming events on the Metaverse? We know Justin Beiber has already done one, and plenty more global artists in the pipeline. Could there be another collab coming? Possible NFT expansion to allow labels like Universal and Warner to use more of the 7Dig tech? Let's hope there is some announcement soon so we know what's happening.

I really hope the silence from 7dig means they are busy working away on some exciting new contracts. 7 new and renewed contracts were announced on 25th October, let's hope we get a nice flurry of new wins in the new year. That said, a little early Christmas would also be welcome!
