Sorry Andy, what BTC could be useless by early 2022 or Coinbase?

My conclusion regarding BTC is that we now have a situation where whales are hodling actual BTC and then shorting on exchanges all the while looking to squeeze retail and smaller holders. I think Saylor is a wolf in lambs clothing. Everywhere says BTC will go up long term. Very few sources say otherwise so I suppose ultimately Argo will recover. Hey Ho, time makes most things right in the end.

Gilen, do not imply I’m subtly deramping. I’m understandably concerned about my position in this BTC related stock. Nothing would make me happier than a bounce from here. I’m fricking annoyed is all. I’m happy to hold and have stated the same but would rather not need the SP to climb magnitudes before profit once more.

Fair play Eddie. I too believe BTC will recover but the fall here is quite frankly alarming. I don’t think anyone on here will deny that. I hope we find support above 75p.

Serious downward BTC pressure now. Covid fears are causing major market jitters and since BTC has been shown to be very sensitive in this respect I think we’re going to struggle in the short term. Just hope we truly don’t end up a penny stock again. I can’t believe crypto space will fail from here but I must admit it’s **** your pants time for sure. Sensible thoughts holders?

I note old loud mouth hasn’t made an appearance today after a 10% drop. Probably hasn’t started drinking today yet. No doubt his sage notes of wisdom won’t appear until later in the evening. Wait for it…..

Sustained crypto weakness at the minute. Hopefully, there’ll be a reversal sooner than later. Slightly worrying downtrend re Bitcoin tbh. Stuck in range 30-34k with lower highs and no matter what anyone says this impacts the entire space, this included.

Convenient that the interview is just before that. Wouldn’t be surprised if EM talks it up again before the results are released. If he shows up.

That’s already looking ramping nonsense Bob. Friday’s spike was due to rumour and positive sentiment has now subsided once more. If we end neutral today it will be a result.

All the hype from Friday was just that. All unsubstantiated nonsense. I am now not looking at this as a short term stock at all. I worry it may drop further again in the short term but longer term there is much that’s positive to come which will add further value. Provided BTC doesn’t disappear or collapse below 25k Argo will do fine over the coming years but the rest of this summer might well be difficult even with good July results. Production of over 230 should be possible.

Is there a genuine reason for the rise? Or is it a natural rebound to the craziness of the last few days. Please answer genuinely only.

RC, you post some decent stuff on here in amongst a lot of poop from others. I am down significantly but thankfully in no rush to cash out so willing to see this out. I just hope it doesn’t capitulate further. Surely we couldn’t get below 70p?

Lost its spring

It’s a bloodbath on all crypto related stocks basically. I’m starting to wonder what’s going on with the whole sphere. Is everyone leaving crypto for the time being?

I’m now humming the song to The Littlest Hobo. Some will get it, others not so much.

The correlation with Bitcoin is a bit screwed up. It seems small increases in BTC are met with no change in SP but with every drop to around $30 for BTC it drops like a stone and doesn’t recover. Is the market predicting a complete BTC crash. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Otherwise, these numbers just look nuts!

Nice reply ZQ. I’m struggling to correlate this recent crash with what’s in front of me.
Hodl of 1220 is £28 million
Monthly production of hopefully 200 BTC at least, 80% margin is £3.8 million or £46 million
Current Mcap of £340 million. P/e of 7.5 ignoring balance in the Hodl.
Surely this should be higher? Again, feel free to comment sensibly Argonaughts.
