Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Bang on Dadsbatty. We never met requirements for Nasdaq application. PW was definitely disingenuous via gestures but not words IMO. Very sly indeed but Bitcoin uncertainty is the issue. These falls are precipitous but might get worse and mirror those of the US miners. Institutional investment certainly hasn’t stabilised Jack here. I think the Greyscale unlock is key. It could bring about a bloodbath and if so we will sink hopelessly. Oh well, bottom drawer or bin for these. Bad luck for all the true investors especially those who jumped onboard late on. What a shocker.
Great post from RC yesterday, but I have to say things are getting very hairy in the crypto space now. Eth crashing along with Dot and Bitcoin dropping overnight. Grayscale unlocks Friday - is this FUD associated with that? We will no doubt drop lower at the open. Irrespective of the fundamentals here this is getting concerning. The bull run is over - anyone saying otherwise is talking nonsense. The flow model for Bitcoin is definitely not right. Gutting
Sorry guys but I was enquiring about the potential extra hash rate the next lot of rigs are supposed to give rather than the effect of the reduced difficulty. I thought the new rigs were supposed to be getting installed from now and was wondering how much are numbers will go up because of that.
As far as Texas is concerned I think it’s pretty likely there’ll be a lot more borrowing involved before it cones online. Either that or a fund raise. We really need a BTC price increase but I can’t see it for now.
You’re not wrong. I was unfortunate enough to buy into Bidstack about 14 months ago. The CEO ramped horrendously, then has underdelivered horribly and been in a bunker ever since. It’s the Wild West for sure!
Hexham, I appreciate the shareholder engagement that’s shown and know how refreshing this is. However, my issue currently is the actual quality if the engagement. In the countless Q and A’s what is he actually revealing? It’s all very catchy but not concrete information.
Obiwan I couldn’t agree more. There’s a lot of headline catching wishy washy statements but no clear information right now. When will the new machines be online? When will Texas be up and running? What are the loans being used for? Are they applying for Nasdaq or not?
I’m starting to get a bit nervous about Argo I must admit. This is the lowest the SP has been for some time and it keeps drifting lower. If BTC drops to 30k again this really could hit £1 which seems ludicrous to me.. Fairly heavily invested here so won’t be selling now and thankfully no pressure to do so but we definitely need a catalyst. Either bump BTC to 40k or confirmed new machines online and monthly production numbers to support it. Have they actually broken ground in Texas yet?
If not then talk of completion Q2 2022 is nonsense. It just won’t happen. Likewise Nasdaq listing hints are starting to make PW look shady.
Like Chaebol, I feel misled, and exploring means nothing once more. Ultimately, I’m happy because it’s a highly profitable company and will continue to be moving forwards. However, I’d like to know when the new miners are coming online as clearly that’s not happened yet even though PW assured us some machines had been added already after the previous order cancellation. To be fair, I think old Peter is starting to come across as a bit disingenuous. I do hope they use the 110 million dollars already available via loans to build and fit out Texas without more dilution and then actually apply to Nasdaq for the start of next year - q2 latest. Otherwise we’re really going to be left behind by the other miners and I can see to SP languishing at under £1.50. If all these ducks end up in a row then £2.50 is definitely achievable IMO. Talk of £5 by various parties at different times has always looked like pie in the sly to me.
If, and it’s a big if that is the case then this is as likely to be a negative sign as positive?
Of course, the Nasdaq bandwagon will start to roll immediately I’m sure but this “headline” is pure speculation.
I’d love to know the reliable source.
Thankfully, I finally threw in the towel at between 4 and 6p. This company is sadly going nowhere now. JD has royally shafted every shareholder. What a caunt!!
If ever….
