Up nearly 500% in the last year, the wait has paid off but I'm wondering if there be a pull back or some consolidation, I imagine new investors are watching closely. Yu group is a gem, still can't find anything fundamentally as strong.
This hasnt recovered even after covid, i really made the mistake of topping up here instead of my Yu group holding which fortunately has nicely paid off
Thanks, i see what you mean Sparky333, such a shame. Company looked good. Anyothers on your watchlist or worth taking a look at, im trying to find something as fundamentally strong as YU
Good energy seems cheap, maybe the next yu group in terms of undervalue, has anyone from looked into this stock?
Gap is at 350
In my experience the price drops to and often below placing so i dont chase. I also vaguely remember news often is released shortly before or after to have an effect on the price. Those who bought in the placing and were looking for a quick trade but instead were down are likely to exit when the price recovers so they are not at a loss. Trading psychology
Will people jump out at placing price ? I see resistance there but hopefully im wrong
I mainly use Asos and many many people I know do too, ive been waiting for an opportunity to invest. Shein doesnt compare, especially with brands available. I cant imagine life without ASOS. PLT is also popular and i think they are the two main shops ( for young women)
Hopefully this breakout in the right direction
Asos will still be here 5 years from now.
I agree, ASOS is not going anywhere, leader in the industry, I can't imagine life without ASOS. MC at £425m!!!, very low risk here. if it goes lower I'll buy more .
Gap at 516 filled, watching what happens next.
Great company but I would get in if this get cheaper, MC is 700mil for a company FY21 revenue 40mil
All the news is out, this has dropped from its peak in oct 2021 nearly 85%, though it could drop more what could cause that?
I see potential here and similar characteristics to Yu group but im not sure about their goals and future plans. Cant find much info on this.
Are you saying the 118m mc is fair value for Yu?
Thanks for the suggestions but i stay away from companies that need regular financing like mining and exploration companies. Yu is great because its debt free, growing revenues, CEO high ownership and few shares available and not being diluted . Tha'ts where im seeing similarities in Cakebox
Been holding since 2018, the wait has been worth it. Really tested my confidence and patience as a value invedtor but im still holding. Wish i didnt sell half my position around 300. On to the next investment!!! Im watching cakebox at the moment. Love to hear what you think is the next ‘Yu Group’
My best investment, fav stock. Cant find anything in its league but i need a dip!!!, would love to buy back what i sold. Does anyone know of a stock with great fundamentals and seriously undervalued?? Tempted to dip in Asos and Boo but not sure about their future.
The performance of this stock has been terrible, even after the covid crash it barely went back to where it was precovid only to drop again and in a time when the energy/metals sector out performed significantly. This is trading below covid and levels seen in march 2018. Directors have not been buying either and When market conditions favoured it, it didnt perform. So I dont know what will make this stock move.
