I think the point myself and Strangy83 and others are trying to make is can everyone calm down, and not have such a knee-jerk reaction.

There are two sides to every coin, I see focussing on Meygen UK as a positive step rather than 'biting off too much before you can chew,' others on here view it as a negative.

Key fact is that SAE still own Meygen. Until news or an RNS (no laughing) confirms otherwise, I'm happy to see how this plays out.

we will see what happens, but the turbines are only one aspect of the company and not the main reason I invested in SAE in the first place.

I agree that the communication from SAE is POOR and there should be an RNS. We also need to know how much it was sold for, yes.

What I don't agree on is that selling ATES is a bad move for SAE at this moment in time. I want them to focus on the UK site only, for the time being.

I personally invested in SAE for developments of the tidal site in the UK and they are now solely focussing on this.

They’re also a small shareholder in Proteus so any gains made there SAE will still get some benefit from.

part of me wants there to be an independent Scotland just because they will get behind tidal properly and invest in it, Meygen is on their shores and something to be proud of. The Conservative party is a sinking ship unless they quickly get Rishi as PM - although the damage is probably already done.

Feel they would do a much better job with renewable energy investment, plus there are strong motivations to act differently to Westminster.

this is a long term hold and probably won't see the kind of progression to SP we'd like until next year. I'm happy to hold and keep accumulating ready for when that time comes.

for me tidal is a MUST for the UK and the government will catch on sooner or later.
