Trust me, I’m no fan of them. The way Canmax have acted the ideal situation is they get binned altogether because Prem have signed an agreement with a different customer who isn’t willing to cut off their nose to spite their face.

Don’t see how Prem & Canmax can continue to work together, based on soured relationship and pride alone.

My main concern is that Canmax have planned this whole thing and are WANTING this to go to court. They may do everything in their power to keep other potential customers away/any threat of legal could scare off potential customers.

A multi Billion dollar company vs a few hundred Million dollar company and the court would be in Singapore.

The last thing Prem want is for this to go to court.

For transparency I am a long term holder and bought more on Friday, I’m just trying to highlight why I don’t think this is going to be plain-sailing. This is just a consideration not a deramp.

I'm genuinely not concerned about the future of PREM. whether it's Canmax who are the customer or a different company.

People trying to spread FUD on here are rather clueless. Yes this is a volatile time and losing your main customer not exactly great news in the short term, but we are one of the very few who are going to be producing Lithium in the not-too-distant future - far sooner than the likes of KOD etc who are 12 months out.

Lack of supply yet high demand of this precious metal is what's is in our favour. Spod/Lithium is needed NOW.

PREM will find a customer. Ride the storm and be rewarded.

Whilst the RNS is NOT what any of us investors wanted I think it's a bit of a stand-off between Canmax and PREM to see who blinks first.

Canmax trying to take advantage of the situation, and PREM to be fair, holding their ground. Personal opinion is when Canmax realise they're not the only company involved/others seriously interested they will make a fairer offer to PREM.

They want that Lithium simple as that. Just playing hard ball to secure the best possible deal.

Expect multiple to-ing and fro-ing until an agreement is reached.

Anything can happen, just my 2 cents and i've topped up my holding at this price.

Too many people on here are guessing what's going to happen but making out like it's fact.

You could be completely wrong. Yes opinions are welcome and everyone is entitled to one, but personally I am going to zoom out from this board because I don't find it particularly helpful (not a criticism, an observation).

I will make opinions based on the facts - let's wait until the next step which is the details of the confirmed agreement between PREM and Canmax (via an RNS - soon hopefully) before drawing any conclusions.

@Anglebox - OBVIOUSLY there is going to be another RNS when the final agreement and details are in place, the point of this RNS was to confirm Canmax are committed to working with PREM and are not going to end the contract.

Obviously there many things to be finalised and they don't have all the details at this stage, same as KOD. The short-term issue is sorted which was the main issue.

Just find the almost hatred from some KODlers quite frankly bizarre, and very immature.

50% share of the revenue of Lithium Hydroxide will be far better than revenue generated from SC6.

This is a KOD board and I find it bizzare how so many of you are obsessed with PREM. Why are you so tribal about the whole thing? Both companies are excellent and in strong positions.

They will both make money, simple as that.

MercedesMan - you're incorrect in how you've interpreted that RNS.

The main issue for the company was the short-term cash flow, which has now been fixed with additional investment by Canmax, who own almost 14% of PREM. The 50% split on revenue from the sale of Lithium Hydroxide is actually a BETTER deal for both parties.

The RNS is excellent news indeed. PREM are safe. Whatever the terms of the new agreement, this is a long term hold and the only issue was the short-term safety of the company.
