Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Old friends ? Yes I saw your sad news and although I felt it inappropriate for a stranger like me to comment but my thoughts were with you as we’ve all suffered sadness and know how raw it is. You are the one poster on here that everyone looks too for news and I can only hope better days are ahead for you and everyone.....
Tlou's Managing Director, Mr Tony Gilby commented, "We are very pleased to have now reached CDP at both the Lesedi 3 and Lesedi 4 production pods. The short-term gas flow test at Lesedi 3 has also been positive, and with the primary objective of demonstrating a commercial gas flow rate, we look forward to further testing at both Lesedi 3 and 4. Further updates will be provided in due course."
Production Update
The Lesedi 4 pod has continued to dewater and CDP has now been reached successfully. CDP is the pressure that gas begins to come out of the coal after a careful dewatering process. Gas is now starting to come out of the coal and is steadily building pressure inside the closed casing.
A short-term gas flow test at Lesedi 3 took place after a significant gas pressure build-up inside the well casing. The result of this test is considered by the Company to represent a positive indication of the pod's potential. Post the short-term test, dewatering has continued with the plan to hold the water level just above the coal and continue to draw down pressure in the well allowing gas to flow in a controlled manner, ideally leading to a long-term gas flow from the Lesedi 3 pod.
Further updates on progress at the Lesedi project will be provided as operations develop.
All going to plan IMHO and looking forward to the next updates. GLA
Olda, I have your confidence also but feel I have been cheating as I know the Botswana Public Office Pension Fund have upped their share of TLOU to 10.49% and also we have become preferred bidder for the CBM project. Some people might not see that as a good sign but HELLO wake up before it's too late fellas.... GLA
Looks like the pension fund will be back to break even shortly but I'm reckoning they have much higher targets and all going well with the upcoming drilling results we will all be in a much happier place IMHO. GLA
Botswana Pension have taken another 28 million shares and now have over 10% of TLOU at an average of 8.5p when we can currently buy at 5.7p. Shares in sticky hands and all looks good to me. Strong Buy IMHO. GLA
Just caught up with the interview and very impressed with Tony's update with the current drilling and tender position.
As Tony said it's a win win situation for the Government with much needed energy and jobs plus benefitting TLOU shareholders and looks like I could still have a couple of weeks to get some more before any positive news sends this up up and away. GLA
All looking good in my eyes, especially like this bit of the RNS " The planned project could bring very significant benefits to Botswana. These benefits include providing: energy security; a cleaner form of local power; additional employment opportunities; the potential for new industries and; a potentially significant return for investors on the Botswana Stock Exchange."
If my memory serves me well the Botswana Stock Exchange shares were purchased at 11p and they are talking about a "significant return" for them which bodes even better for a current price around 5.5p. A few this morning have a glass half empty but not me !!! GLA
Olda, think there are quite a few LTHs here just waiting for this to go boom. Positive drilling update and RFP success and this will be over 20p in a flash. Tony has a proven track record and confident he will repeat it with TLOU. Will be regretting I didn't get more at these silly prices but got what I could. GLA
