Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Just tried to sell my entire holding on iWeb and got: "Unfortunately, the dealing charges for this transaction exceed the funds raised."
I certainly cannot be bothered to do the matched bargaining marlakey, especially as iWeb say I probably need to transfer to a broker that supports it, and that would cost more again no doubt.
So I am stuck with these forever! LOL! Time to re-read The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner.
First-gen LFT tests, especially the cheap Innova stuff the UK Govt bought en masse and are still using in schools today - are poor and intrusive. The second-gen LFT tests coming along shortly are meant to be much more accurate, albeit not quite PCR standard.
Some of the 2nd-gen LFT tests are also meant to be less intrusive, e.g. anterior nasal rather than nasopharyngeal. There was work being done on saliva-based tests but I think it got shelved. The belief is that Government NDA's are holding back announcement of what exactly will be what (and who will make it ) in this area.
I think there's a market for both. Our new saliva-based PCR test needs a lab environment (that may be portable?) and will have its own market. The mass market (in the UK at least) IMO however will be in quick result (<30m) home/office-based LFT tests that are accurate enough for purpose.
Interesting theory, ICB. I don't know how we could identify which stocks could be affected? Some linkage on this...

Understood that this has happened before however it's not just my Covid stocks that are down, it's mining/biotech/etc. Although Coivd stocks have been hit worse.
Maybe this is having an effect? https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/news/shares/fear-of-small-cap-rout-after-ig-group-raises-margin-rates-to-100
Just doubled my holding here, now at 179p average. Not huge sums but as much as I feel comfortable gambling with. I got caught napping by Tuesday's RNS so my average could have been lower but so be it.
So it's a possible FOMO Friday and Boris announcement on Monday, and I'm now strapped in and ready for the ride.
I stumbled across this NY Times resource, annoyingly behind a paywall but you do get a few free reads.

I think they might be willing to add the Foralumab trial results in the "Promising" or "Tentative or Mixed Evidence" category, if I could work out how to contact the authors of the article.
