The problem with MCRO is the high level of debt that it is carrying. This is causing great uncertainty and an unstable share price. It would be much better for the company to come up with a positive strategy to deal with the debt rather than chucking increasing amounts of money at Dividends. Hopefully they will announce not just improving turnover but, also a plan to reduce debt. Personally I would rather have an increasing SP as a result of market confidence than a few sweeties given out as dividends. If anyone at the BOD looks at this board? DEAL with the DEBT!

Opulentia has done some great posts which are very encouraging but, only hard facts will show what is really happening and what the direction of travel really is. Some have mentioned info coming out in May but, on what date is this expected? Thanks

We could easily be £6 by the end of this week. Any take out offer at £7-8 would be laughed at IMO.
Even right now with the current SP trajectory an offer would need to be around £11 to have any chance.

Although it was an unpleasant surprise to read this RNS. I guess the company has to take it on the chin at the present time.
It's just another clearing out of the cr*p within MCRO.
Personally I'm looking forward to the continued rise in the SP over the next few years.
Hopefully once, the Goodwill is fully written down, debt level reduced and Divi resumed, then the SP will be much much higher.

Yes, it looks like ipf is now pushing up to hit the £1 mark. Perhaps even this will happen this week!
£1.50+ is my expectation, especially once dividends get restored which hopefully will happen early next year. I guess dividend restoration will all be dependent upon an improvement in the new lending rate up from the current 60%. All looking good....

I will vote against this. If other shareholders do the same then this questionable deal will fail and leave the door open for a much better offer.

It's the shareholders who own the company not the Bod! it's the shareholders who determine its fate not the Bod.
This company is clearly worth vastly more than is presently being offered.

So the yanks have offered a derisory £2.72. But, the current share price is already around £2.80.
