They've been involved since 2016? At what point do you realise they hold little sway with the government? Budgets have gone through which is the best indicator of progress, but commercials need to be agreed. I doubt much will happen until that's all agreed. Would you spend money without based on the government's history?

Could be GL, but if there is a specific reason for this date then shareholders should be made aware and given estimated projections for how much gas will be required. I'm sure they must have this detail.

One question for me is what (if anything) is driving this date of first gas in September 2024? We were told it would be 18 months from drill to production in the circular so it appears not to be driven by time to develop. Does the government have a specific demand/requirement for gas at this time?

I say this with no disrespect, but it really is a pointless excersise.

Why do you think they are spending too much on 3d? There's plenty left in the 140m dev spend to cover it and drills to get to production. They have no control over it anyway as they aren't the operator.

They said in the report that the 1.7m would keep them going till June 2022.

You can have bragging rights too, but this is all about ruvuma. I don't see much coming from elsewhere and any money (before receivables and even with those) should be used very wisely to keep the lights on till first gas. Delays are common and contingent funds needed.

I posted back in December/January that they'd hunker down (due to a conversation with ir) and that's come true so far. I expect that to continue and also agree with this strategy given their situation.

It's very positive to see the support from ARA and funding. Changes things immensely. Now we just need real progress. Seismic please!

The point is we could have been having this conversation 18 months ago based on what was said. Just because something they say reads in a positive way, does not give any indication of resolution any time soon. I hope this time I'm wrong.

Kiliwani Gas Receivables

Aminex is in discussion with the Tanzanian government authorities to secure payment of the outstanding receivables owed for gas sales from the Kiliwani North gas field that amount to approximately US$6.7 million (gross) excluding interest. This is finally being progressed after the return of senior government officials who have recognised their obligations and are making efforts to resolve the matter. A meeting has been scheduled and we hope to be in a position to update shareholders soon.

So does 'robust' trump 'near future'. Neither can be taken as any kind of timing. It's just about being realistic and not reading into things to see what you want to see.

PoC, the logic of your post suggests we are saying there are no receivables owed. Perhaps read what's said and go through previous communications on the matter. Then decide what 'robust' really means in terms of timing.

Know better than to 'interpret'. Unless something is definitively stated, it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

'Robust' isn't tangible and is open to interpretation. Sounds positive of course, but so do many other words/statements in previous rns. Fingers crossed they are in your interpretation of 'robust' discussions.
